  1. Cracking performance. The whole midfield were generally very good today but Holt even apart from his goal/s was excellent. Only complaint about the midfield today is the same as the past few weeks, opposition players were getting in to out final third unchallenged. But that's a tactical complaint.
  2. Over to you Scottish media..... The precedent was set when Lafferty did the same so you've got to be consistent. Hounded and reminded at every opportunity. It's only fair isn't it? Isn't it!!?
  3. Thought this was gonna say "two subs at the 60 min mark"
  4. Excellent critique. It's all too predictable. We tried the same attack about half a dozen times in the first half where the wide player would try the through-ball inside their fullback. If the Falkirk defenders have switched on to it the first couple of times then it's not going to catch them out!! Every time they just ended up cutting it out or shielding it out for a goal kick.
  5. The penalty was fine - low and hard, the keeper did well to push it onto the post. But why, for a last min penalty in a game where there keeper has saved everything 2nd half, was there nobody running in to poke home the rebound. Every game I played I follow the ball in full pelt in case of a save. And I'm shite.
  6. Don't think the Allan one will happen, he wouldn't to go back the same season he left for European football. Even wallowing in the reserves would be preferable to dropping back that quickly. The Stokes one is believable as he's nowhere near their first team these days.
  7. A question, re: free pies and free rolls. Is everyone guaranteed a free pie and free rolls, or is it a limited amount/while stocks last-type of deal?
  8. Well I'll just shut the fuck up then! But seriously that's a shame, I've genuinely thought for years that Davis waived a chunk of his signing on fee. Must've been one of they rumours that just stuck, like the one about Naismith being one of the delays in the squad accepting a pay reduction when we went in to admin (allegedly)
  9. Scrolled through 4 pages hoping nobody had predicted he'd go to PSG and this crops up as last comment!! Bielsa to take over at Chelsea until end of season then Simeone to take charge for 16/17 season.
  10. I'm not having Davis getting lumped in with Naismith Whittaker etc. Davis did his part in getting Rangers a fee from Southampton as opposed to him getting a bumper signing on fee.
  11. I don't really have an opinion about Craig Houston, he's probably a good guy but that John Greig story sounds like he was ripping the piss.
  12. Would be Weir or Caniggia for me. Honourable mention for big Ugo Ehiogu as well though.
  13. If true, the timing of Kings statement would make sense as it would probably be the crowd-pleaser revelation at their AGM tomorrow.
  14. Another good statement. But was it just me that had to Google "fiduciary"?!?
  15. In all honesty I kind of agree with his sentiment. Leaving aside the legal technicalities and rulings by the authorities (which have always confirmed it's the same club anyway) I believe that the fans are the soul of any football club - as long as the fans are there supporting then the club can't "die".
  16. "They were dead but they came back" ??? Did Roger Mitchell just compare us to Jesus?
  17. That's a shame. Ive always liked Moyes. He's in the same boat as Steve Mclaren as a very good manager/coach unfairly judged on a job that was just too big for them.
  18. For journalists, esp on Twitter, it's only ever mentioned when they want to feel listened to. No one gives a shit what Speirs or Spence say about anything apart from that, it stirs up hate and arguments and they feel relevant. There's something deeply wrong with educated men stoking the flames like that.
  19. A great statement IMO I said on here a few days ago that we needed to put out something like this. Strike first or its open season and left for the fans to defend the club. Glad to know the blazers are reading and taking my ideas on board
  20. Thomson obviously refusing to accept that to cheat you have to make a deliberate attempt to be deceptive. I've seen no allegation that the scheme was deceptive on Murray or Rangers part. The issue was whether ebt should be subject to tax - no deception as they were detailed in accounts, so no cheating. It's that simple!
  21. Loved the story of Baxter before a cup final . . . "if it's nil-nil in the last minute and we get a penalty, I'm taking it! When I put the ball on the spot, you two go up and get the cup"
