Hard to believe anyone with the benefit of hindsight can still doubt Beale was 100% correct to concede a goal. The evidence is overwhelming that Tillman(for obvious reasons) was the only one not in on the plan to let the big clumsy fuc*er eventually hoof it up the park. I have absolutely no idea how Matondo arrived at Ibrox so I can't condone criticising Wilson for the signing. Surely scouts recommended him and GVB agreed with the signing and Wilsons job then is to make it happen. If Wilson says no then we have a real problem. I personally was raging about Balogons departure but seemingly Balogun said today Wilson was in his corner and tried to get Gio to agree to extension. With regards to the boys question I still say he let himself down by guessing figures he had no clue about and imo many frustrated Rangers fans have decided Wilson has to be sacrificed despite them guessing on his culpability.

You mean the boy got to speak at a Rangers AGM but plucked figures out of thin air allowing Wilson the upper hand. Agree with most of that but he must improve when we're out of possession . He is lazy and also too casual on the ball. His last appearance was v Ajax where he cost us the 3rd goal through carelessness.

Rogers team were better than Ange team, fact. Have a close look at tims v St Johnstone, Hertz, Motherwell, Dundee Utd and Ross County ,all tight and a few LATE winners. Credit that they've picked up points but very lucky on several occasions and just as bad as Rogers in Europe.

Despite All the shite Rangers lost the league by ONE old firm game, based on Gerrards old firm record overall and NINE games undefeated Beale is entitled to say he thinks we'd have won the league. You may have other agendas and you may not agree with his assertion but my only point is that Beale was entitled to his claim. My own point of view if you're even remotely interested is that Gerrard would have scraped us over the line had he stayed with probably at least one of old firm Victories being enough.

Probably, but all the signs are that although Gerrard's backroom team had lost motivation they still had the old firm game sussed and that is what wins leagues.

Gerrard had a great old firm record ,including Rogers,Lennon and Ange victory's. I'm not salivating over Gerrards last season but old firm games got them going and his record in Europe shows it was the smaller games with low blocks that he struggled with. If he'd reversed even one of the tim defeats we'd probably have been champions.

But were still ahead in the league and most importantly had the old firm experience to not sit back.
