How many of their players would get in our team ?, think that was the point. No doubt they were the better team last night but the return leg will be their test.

The rules clearly states "exception" when the ball come off your team mate, no grey area , no opinion just an absolute joke as was no VAR in the first half. Surely the game should be VAR for 90 mins or not at all.

celtic are champions because of Gerrard, 200%, he started the season without fire in his belly and fuc*ed off first sniff of the EPL, his legacy is tarnished and the tims would have been miles behind us financially if he'd done his job. We had a magical journey in Europa league after GVB managed to improve on Gerrard's remarkable European adventures so I don't fling darts at Gerrard pic every night but he has tainted a wonderful relationship by choosing a club who will not satisfy him imo.

Nobody will disagree with your obvious points but the bottom line is that his timing was all wrong. His family could have waited a few months and let's face it he's probably seen very little more of them with starting a new job. He owed it to the fans , the board and his players to finish the season and his legacy will suffer because of his selfishness, especially as it can be argued he cost us a league which should have been a given.

Watch Gerrards limp wristed fist pump when Hagi scores a vital late goal v Brondby and you'll know instantly that he knew he was Villa bound over a week before his claims. Without that goal we probably don't make the Euro final yet he uncharacteristically celebrates it like a training goal. I've no problem with Gerrard's leaving but the timing was unforgivable and has sadly soured his Rangers legacy for me. Only the Liverpool job would have been acceptable circumstances to leave us without a manager mid season. Regardless of poor start Gerrard had the tims number and sadly GVB cost us the league because it took him two vital defeats to learn we don't sit back via them and in fact we went on to bully them in the next two. Whatever reason's Gerrard gave would have kept for a few months but I console myself in the knowledge that the Euro final doesn't happen under his management and that was a monumental achievement for GVB even though the pain of how close we got will never go away.

There are six finalists in Europe this year , five have had no problem solving the logistics of a beam back, an absolute disgrace that Rangers are the only one to find those issues impossible to solve and the Rangers fans have been neglected massively, Robertson has yet again shown he's not fit for purpose.

Goals , sandy 45, McGrain 4. Sandy could play as a forward and won the Scottish Player of the year as a sweeper for Hearts at 36, McGrain not as talented imo.

Danny McGrain was a top fullback with a tremendous engine but for me Sandy was a Rolls Royce and easily world class and the better player.

A back 5 would see him in his best position with less onus on his defending, however his contribution to our revival is second to non and imo he's earned legendary status at our club.

Players will talk about better leagues, better opportunities to play and great academies etc but the absolute bottom line is CASH turns heads. We must identify the gems sooner and give them a longer deal to avoid losing them. We were powerless to stop Gilmour leaving because of his age but Lowrie showed great promise and his latest contract should have been longer.
