  1. Agreed, blip tonight but think we will up the performance and come out on top on Tuesday with more players available and the fans back at Ibrox. Tbf they did look like a team who were well in to their season (mostly) and undoubtedly we missed our usual composure and they capitalised on it. I don’t underestimate what the absence of Kamara, Aribo, Morelos and Roofe took away from the team also. I do think and believe we will turn this around though…
  2. Panic and more so a hugh gamble on the appeasement of their fans, short term madness financially and strategically if they are serious about letting the manager develop a team of his own… Yes, I do love to see it👌
  3. I watched the Aberdeen European match last week and tbh they look more capable and more of a threat than celtic. Hib’s will smell blood also…
  4. The third keeper, consequence of ‘inflation’…🙄
  5. Was just wondering if there is a bush outside his hotel for after their match tomorrow night…
  6. Don’t think he’s naive atall, now totally convinced he’s just another yes man who, as believed by yourself will tow whatever party line he’s instructed to by the board…
  7. Careful TS, a realistic danger of this common sense catching on..
  8. Judging by the sound of mate in London who’s just off the phone I’d say about 10 o’clock this morning… 🍺🍺😀
  9. Likewise mate he speaks very well and I like his focus, got a good feeling about the contribution he will hopefully be making in his time with us…
  10. Do not want anyone associated with Rangers to be anything like these two…
  11. I didn’t realise that he actually drew his hands away from making contact with the ball, serious lack of judgment. He’ll pick up all of the flack no doubt for the score line taking the focus away from how poor a team their opponents were on the night and with a home advantage could still only manage (1 point🙄):-)…
  12. It’s laziness mate, alike to not typing ‘what’ in front of👆
  13. Exactly, or either work in a %’age formula for the capacity of each ground, their inconsistency is only bettered by their incompetence…
  14. I was of the belief that for access they had to pay the money and if they were blatantly being unfair (as per McLaughlin despite his many warnings) their access would be concluded with the money lost. This may not/ almost certainly won’t change any personal held bias but in (business) money talks and boardrooms would not take kindly to ridiculous and biased editorial decisions (that’s what we’re talking about here) loosing them money and custom. I personally haven’t bought a newspaper for years and pick up all of team updated match reviews on fan media which I’m glad to say has been up till now more entertaining, informative and thankfully quite refreshingly subjective. All that I believe the majority of the support are looking for. Think we were all looking for the club to be pro-active with the media, looks like they are being so now, hope this may pave the way to a level playing field in factual sport reporting…
  15. Unsure, but I’m glad the club have taken a decisive stance towards the MSM press who for years have made a lot of money basically demonising the club and support in quite often ridiculous and literally ‘stories’. Match this with the influence that Lawwell had with the press in Scotland who did and some still do bend over backwards to portray positivity in any adversity facing that club (and there is and has been a lot to choose from). Rangers are back at the top and sense a possible good run in Europe again. If forcing outlets who (will still make money) to pay thus ensures fair and reflective reports are produced in fear of being banned and loosing their £25000 then that’s all good with me. To confirm, not looking for bias press just to be fair…
  16. Deserves a👏👌, very well summarised. I’ve often wondered if rival fans from Eastern European or other far off countries not akin with Scottish culture actually think that a large proportion of the population cut about in they ridiculous outfits, feathers, badges etc as that’s all they see at games or on tv for matches…
  17. I have absolutely no doubt Gerrard knows exactly how he will use and develop him to full effect in this league. On top of this, after watching his interview, if Gerrard asked him to jump through burning hoops (excuse the phrase) he’d do it and in the process try 110% to please the manager. Of course things may not go to plan but on looking at recruitment to date I have every faith in this signing. Good luck JL…
  18. Don’t we all mate…🙄
  19. Well said. For long enough there was no faith or it wasn’t acceptable to put any money in to the club because you knew the charlatans at the helm were all for themselves at the expense of the club and ourselves. We now have the polar opposite and we all have our free will to limit how much we are prepared (or able) to invest in merchandise etc. I personally whilst seeing both sides of the argument, am very proud of the way the clubs business model has transformed in to the most pro-active and successful in the country. There is no doubt that the team will benefit from the increasing revenue…
  20. Thinking this also or put out there by his agent looking to gather interest in other clubs. After their fiasco from the last few seasons you would have expected them to take a leaf out of our book and announce signings after they’re done (if serious), the cynic in my is thinking they are trying to up ST sales regardless of that statement made yesterday (I believe nothing that emanates from that club…
  21. Fair enough, I didn’t realise Nisbet was that old, still see potential in him in the right environment mind you…
  22. At least they have the professionalism to keep within the weight band expected of a professional footballer, get a game for their respective clubs and in the lead up to the tournament have been finding the way to goal. On a serious note I think Nisbet (if developed) properly has the potential to become a very good player…
  23. Absolutely, I happened to catch 5 minutes of it (SSB) last night, the part where Charley Miulgrew (I think) suggested they ‘Lee Griffiths’ should have been in the squad and been brought on to give everyone a lift before probably taking a half chances and scoring🙄 Another caller was fawning about Clarke saying he was the best Scotland manager since Craig Brown, and he’ll be a Scottish football legend 😀, this just sums up the mentality of far too many in this country…
  24. He’s still insisting he/ they followed ‘covid protocols there to a T’ well maybe in his own head but that’s not what the pool and bar pictures showed. Or not like a senior member or his training staff ‘Kennedy’ came out and actually admitted it. Then I remember we’re talking about a guy who when a coin bounced off his chest he dropped to the ground holding his head…
