  1. For the purposes of 'Next permanent manager' betting 10 games is enough to win the bet even if the man in place is still officially an interim or caretaker. Obviously we won't be forced to give Murty the job just because be takes the team for 10 games.
  2. Alves, McCrorie, Morelos are our most important players down the middle
  3. I was cautious about the amount of hype RM was getting for his centre back displays. He was gifting goal chances in among some very good play. In midfield he looks fantastic. All his attributes can be utilised with less risk. He's quite like John Stone's in his Everton days in that I think maybe in a few years he will be a top level CB but just now this role suits everyone. A fantastic young prospect, get him tied down for the next 4-5 years
  4. He plays fearless passes. Always looking to make the difference. I think you are right and because he tries a lot of through balls they don't always work.
  5. Our best defender by an absolute mile. If he was fit to play 40 games over the season we wouldn't be in the mess we are. We have no quality to pair him with, just potential and mediocrity
  6. Started this after the Hamilton game. That we haven't heard a peep since then is a disgrace. We are rudderless and the fans are on the verge of mutiny
  7. McCrorie is also a bombscare. At fault for more goals this season than Cardoso in half the games. He has age on his side but has caught McCabe, Ness and Fleck in the overhype stakes.
  8. Provided those loans are converted as promised we will have zero debt. That could well be the point to sell to an outside investor if some of the board have an exit strategy
  9. They can't issue shares at 1p and clear loans, unless they plan to issue about 2,000,000,000 shares for the £20m debt
  10. If they were all fit and returned to form I'd agree. We can play better but not well enough. We need more
  11. Well that poses a difficulty because we have very few player assets to sell and very little additional revenue from our prize money or Europe. We will have to have incredible luck in the market and unearth some bargains
  12. We spent some money but most of it is on the bench or sitting in the house. Pena, Herrera, Dorrans, Alves, Cardoso not involved. We need some amazing luck in the transfer window and all our players playing to their max
  13. Almost every fan now has had enough of talk and buzz words. We need to start seeing evidence of progress. This week a manager must be put in place and that manager must be a uniting force. Some of the names (you know who they are) give fans the fear. If it's a borderline joke appointment the fans might just turn on the board or simply stop turning up. We need to know what DKs position is on all of this. He's silent and unseen. We are fed spin and later find out about £3m payoffs. Why the delay in share conversion? What if DK has to bid for the whole lot? What do our future plans in the transfer market look like? If it's break even say so now and don't have the fans waiting on the new manager making quality signings that never come. It feels like we are a crisis point and the leadership are silent and invisible. The fans groups are silent and invisible. We need some reasurrance if this negativity is misplaced or some honesty if it isn't.
  14. Said it many times, McCrorie has caused about 4-5 goals. He might turn out a player but right now he's learning and shouldnt be ahead of Alves
  15. I'm not saying hes not a cracking prospect, but let's see how he develops. He's very green, he's made a few rash tackles and been out of position for a couple of goals. On the ball he looks excellent and he has time I'm his side. Similar to John Stone's in some ways
  16. McCrorie is a good young player but there's a danger he's being made into Franz Beckenbauer here when he's actually cost us 3 or 4 goals. I'd play him against most teams but against Aberdeen and them I'd probably side with Wilson next to Alves. I'd have Alves in every week.
  17. We seem to be putting plans in place bit they are being dripped in over months and years because we are skint. That's the long and short of it. We are rebuilding on a budget and releasing the funds intermittently. The stadium needs work and that also seems to subject of tinkering rather than anything substantial. Money talks
  18. I think the man with the most impressive record is Michel Pruedhomme. He's well respected across Europe and has done it in Belgium, Holland and Austria. He's never really had a failure and rejected the Belgium job only last year. Here's a link which gives a little bit of background... http://www.espn.co.uk/football/belgium/story/2913957/michel-preudhomme-rejects-links-to-belgium-managers-job
  19. Pruedhomme was mentioned a few days ago pre sacking......and seems to have gone up the betting. The people mentioning him makes me think he might be on our list. Could be an interesting option.
  20. I'm not sure of you are joking but he'd be safe bet. If it was Moyes or McInnes I'd opt for Moyes. I think it will be a left field name from the mind of Mark Allen. An obscure youth coach from Germany. Or maybe Arteta or someone like that
  21. He's not good enough in my opinion. Better than average SPFL midfielder, but Rangers midfielder?....not for me. If it's a squad option to replace a Holt or Halliday I can live with that. If it's first team regular
  22. McCrorie was out of position for the 2nd goal. He went upfield to challenge for a header, lost out and left Alves with 2 men. He might turn out to be a player but honestly he's made more than a couple of mistakes in the few games he's played.
