A welcome decision and, as they say, a recognition that paying to watch Rangers doesn't mean that you are supportive of the board.
-
No surrender for me but we desperately need a change in direction if the team are to secure first place. Still time to do it if action is taken in the next few weeks. Beyond that it will be tough to see the Championship title coming to Ibrox.

Never a red card. Happy with the performance so far and with some better finishing might have been ahead.

Poor stuff again versus a part time club. Some of the passing and defending is comical with no help from the forwards with the missed golden chances. I cannot see how the present set up is sustainable long term, -
Well done Scotland. Another great 3 points.

Rangers need to sort out the ticketing situation
hummington replied to KingKirk's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I agree with this. I will be writing along these lines to the Season Ticket Holder rep on the Fans Board. -
Bring it on.

Good to see the armed forces on the pitch - they received a great welcome. However it was hugely scaled down from previous years and didn't have the same impact. A bit of a rethink required.

I have held off until now but I regret to say that his position has become untenable. There is no signs of real improvement and it is becoming harder to see a Championship title winning team. The big obstacle is whether the club has sufficient funds for a pay off.

Well done Rangers. Great result. Gloomy post mortem currently underway on Radio Scotland. -

It is certainly looking that way. The lack of numbers is clearly hurting the club. -

Two very poor goals lost in the first half. However credit to McCoist as the half time changes made for a much improved second half. Happy with the three points although it is also becoming clearer that Hearts will be a real threat ths season. -

hummington replied to G.E.C.'s topic in General Football & Sport
Breaking news - Celtic are claiming that Maribor employed an under aged ball boy during the first leg. "A clear breach of UEFA rules" said a club spokesman. "And if it is not can we still be awarded the tie please?". -

Good result and a definite improvement on recent performances. Looking forward to Saturday. -
"..The club needs urgent, substantial investment..." Why would this be? I suspect it is due in no small part to their campaign for a fans boycott of season tickets and club merchandise. Seems that there are still struggling to get over the failure of their hairbrained Ibrox 1972 scheme.

Bit of a struggle again but pleased with the result. Hopefully the team can kick on from this. -
From the shirts website - "All profits will be utilised by the Rangers Supporters Trust to buy up shares in the club." I think it would have been more transparent to say that for each shirt sold a minimum of say £x will go towards the above cause. The objection I have with this scheme is the RST/UOF have, at the same time, asked fans not to buy club merchandise. Otherwise it would be a legitimate fund raiser.

I don't think the board can afford to terminate his contract even if they wanted to. I'd expect it would cost something north of one million pounds to let the management team go. Every pound will be a prisoner at the moment but if results continue to go the wrong way then it becomes unavoidable.

Impressive attendance yesterday given all that has gone on over the summer. It makes the result all the more disappointing.
