  1. Pleased to get a winning start to the season. Templeton and McLeod were the stand out performers. The defence went AWOL at times which is concerning but overall happy to get a result and now looking forward to Sunday.
  2. It can also mean that every day he comes in to work, he has a year left on his contract.
  3. Pleased to see Boyd back. With him and Miller up front we have a fairly formidable strike force
  4. Magnificent - simply magnificent. Makes the game look very very easy.
  5. Good signing - a welcome addition to the squad. I think he will be top scorer in the Championship next season.
  6. Just watched the highlights. Well done Hamilton. Rod Petrie's face is priceless.
  7. I think it was a decent attempt to engage with the broader fan base. The answers are as I expected in an open forum.
  8. Just shows how this game, this club affects us all. The video montage was well put together and then there was the minutes silence which was very moving. I kept my head down - looking at the team and the support was simply too emotional.
  9. Credit to the display/ protest organisers as they may have been under pressure from some quarters to still go ahead. Tomorrow will be an opportunity for the support to pause for a moment and recognise that we all want the same thing - a successful and prosperous club which will still be here after our generation has passed on.
  10. Sad news. One of my all time favourite Rangers players.
  11. He has been struggling for several weeks now. The manager needs to address the problem before the new season starts.
  12. I think the team could have won today. Just lacked a bit of quality but overall it was a good performance. United got the breaks which on another day could have went the way of Rangers. I have not watched much of the premier league this season but have heard Utd are one of the top performers. Based on what I have seen, I wasn't impressed. Overall encouraged by today's performance.
  13. You don't need to be pro- board to be tired of this type of anti-board drivel. Surely there is a fan rep out there who can offer a more balanced view on the situation?
  14. The legal action is regrettable but obviously Easdale has drawn a line in the sand. Houston has an out if he chooses to take it. Using RFFF money in this action would alienate many fans, including myself, who contributed towards the fund and possibly adversely affect fan initiatives in the future.
  15. Dundee Utd given until 1 April to sell their initial allocation and ask for more tickets. http://www.thecourier.co.uk/sport/football/dundee-united/dundee-united-fans-given-ibrox-cup-semi-final-ticket-deadline-1.281537
  16. League won in March - well done Rangers. Watching McCoist as he went around applauding the fans, you can see that he loves this club.
  17. I think the SFA changed their policy a few years ago after the Rangers v Dundee cup final. There were hundreds of empty seats in the Dundee end and a sell out Rangers end. After this I am sure they allocated tickets with one eye on the average attendance of each club to ensure a sell out. I don't mind United getting 20k provided they are confident of selling all of them but I just don't see it.
