  1. Get scum to part with their giros and buy ST's. I can see no other reason.
  2. Ajer cannot cannot be regarded as a defender. He can't defend. It's that simple. As a midfielder, and given the space to run into, he might be worth a small gamble. Up to Norwich. McGregor is a busted flush. Edouard is not a fraction of the player they imagine him to be and his record shows that.
  3. Clarke would steady the ship but would set them up not to lose with a win as a bonus. After 4 or 5 draws they would be after him in the car park. The Aussie has disaster written all over him. All good from my viewpoint.
  4. Tend to agree but a sparkling pre season could yet see him get a squad place. Well short of being a regular first pick but as an impact player off the bench ? Stewart and Barker can go. Neither has shown enough to suggest they have a future with us. They lack the quality we are looking for.
  5. Alfredo has done well in Europe and has 23 Europa league goals to his name. He has scored more Europa league group stage goals in one campaign than Eduardo has in 3 combined So basically Eduardo’s valuation is based on his goals in Scottish football. Plus a few for France under 21's. A consistent flop on a bigger stage than a match with Hamilton yet beyond doubt he is their best player. Remember this is a player who can sign a pre in the next window so why would anyone pay 15/18M for him ? If it happens that what is Alfredo's value ?
  6. 18M minus PSG's cut is not a lot. Sounds more like a planted story as anyone can pick up the French guy for nothing come Xmas.
  7. scum board are panic mode. Hence the Aussie with no license, and who's sole European experience is a brief spell in the Greek 3rd division. It's a case of get a body in, spin his resume, and try to sell more ST's. scum fans are not fans as we understand the word. More like glory hunters who won't stand by their club through thick and thin but whose sense of entitlement is through the roof. Hell mend them and their board.
  8. He will be given pre season to shine then a decision will be made. I see little point in another loan spell so I expect he either does enough to get a place in the squad or his agent is told to find him another club.
  9. Could have changed since my day but I remember it as rather scenic. It may or may not still have a good rail connection to Glasgow. Never lived there so I have no idea how many scum infest it. Best of luck with your move.
  10. If they were content with the 'play a manager' scenario they would have stuck with lemmon.
  11. Read the entire article and only fell asleep once. What a lot of nonsense over nothing. Of course we are the same club. It must be very boring being a lawyer.
  12. lemmon is a deeply flawed human being. Excessive drinking and his attitudes towards women are just symptoms of the underlying disease. Which is why he fitted in so well with the scum. Can always play the victim card etc. The 'green brigade' are totally out to lunch but they allowed them to flourish and indeed encouraged them. Very much a case of reap what you sow. He won trophys as a manger that I would expect my dog to win. But when a challenge came in he was not up to meeting it which says it all.
  13. But, but they are the greatest fans in the world.
  14. 'sellic way' is just a myth. All people remember is football teams who won matches. End of story.
  15. Well wouldn't you be if that's where you had to work.
  16. I am retired now but spent the last 20 years of my working life in Halifax. Have not been back to Scotland since covid. Prior to that visits to Scotland were a couple of weeks every two or three years. I miss Ibrox but little else. Winters are brutal, summers brilliant, and the people are very friendly. On balance I prefer the new Scotland to the old.
  17. Never seen it myself which is not say it doesn't exist. Last time I met anyone with any knowledge of Scottish football was in a bar in Dartmouth (no idea why I was there) and sitting next to me was couple of chaps from Ireland over to do engineering contract for a local employer. Nice enough chaps but with a dubious taste in beer. Offered me a Keiths which I never touch. Anyway back to the point they were scum supporters but when I pointed out football is swings and roundabouts and Rangers will be back they did not disagree. This was years ago.
  18. I have never come across that. Probably because football is a minority sport in Nova Scotia. Or soccer as they call it. On the rare occasions I have been asked I state that I am a Rangers fan and leave it at that.
  19. Clearly he never thought he would get offered a job that required those badges. So why bother. Takes a year after all. scum just don't do due diligence. Their preferred route is to appeal if they don't get what they want.
  20. Thanks. So it was my frivolous remark from yesterday that upset some sensitive souls that was aired. Mind you I would love it to come true.
  21. I have never listened to the program or indeed called it so it was not me. Can't imagine what the person said to make some think I was involved. I can only hope that it was a good call.
  22. The clubs social media has been greatly improved of late so I would guess that the vacancy is down to somebody leaving. Best of luck to anyone on here who throws their hat in the ring.
  23. I wanted no more likes after 55 so to suggest that I was after meaningless likes is truly absurd. The remark you refer to was nothing more than tongue in cheek. They laughed at us for a decade. Tables have turned. Live with it.
  24. That was the most ridiculous poll I have ever seen. I voted for Dortmund 3 times. scum are sitting there voting tic, refreshing, then voting again. Well that's what I did for Dortmund until boredom set in. Fact is they have a desperate need to be liked/loved and the rest of the world could not care less.
  25. I shall if it upsets you but I see nothing wrong in having a laugh.
