If it was us looking to bring in Howe I would have serious concerns. Spends an awful lot of money with, at the end of the day, little to show for it. No doubt he will be a step up from lemmon but I cannot see him as a threat.

Both Tav and Borna are integral to the way we play. Remember the pre Borna days. All our attacks came from the right. We had little or nothing coming from the left. Borna gave us balance. In Patterson we have a replacement (in time) for Tav. Hard to think of a replacement for Borna that we already have on the books. I am just greedy in that I don't want any of the current first team regulars to go but if needs must there are others I would let go first.

I would have to agree with her decision. I am not a fan of government bailing out failing businesses. That said it is very much government business to create an environment in which companies can flourish. Given the amount of compensation they have to pay out the anti Rangers agenda is clear and beyond dispute. It was a witch hunt in which Hollyrood played a leading role. A situation in which politicians had no part to play. Beggars belief that people still vote for them.

I will never knock any fan who prefers to have shares in the club in their own name. The limitations however are clear - no influence unless you are a millionaire and buy millions of shares. Having 1 fan group is a good idea. C1872 are significant shareholders and have a voice. They are not on the board which I am pleased about as I see the role as one of a watching brief. 2012 must never happen again. My, at the moment mild concerns, are with how it is being run. Elections must be open to all members. My views of Dingwall are personal and I won't post them again however he should be allowed to stand. It made a lot of sense (still does) to merge the fan groups into one entity which has more clout. My concerns are over the way it is being run. However I have a vote and the option to cancel if I wish. But at a tenner a month (my modest contribution) I shall continue for the time being.
