  1. I'd like to have seen Clark and Daly start. Not starting with Miller would have been a big call, starting Boyd just smacks of "right big fella, it's your turn".
  2. GK Cammy Bell, Worth keeping as we'll struggle to get better. Not the class of keeper we've had in the past but good enough for where we are. GK Steve Simonsen, waste of a wage. GK Lee Robinson, should be playing till Bell is fit. DF Sébastien Faure, wasted wage. DF Shane Ferguson, pointless loan as he's not fit to play. All we'll get from this is inconsistent form as a player tries to find fitness, if we're lucky a handful of good games late on. DF Richard Foster, never at any point been good enough to wear the jersey. DF Kevin Mbabu, see Shane Ferguson. Although since he'd be replacing Foster he's probably worth a punt even half fit. DF Lee McCulloch, not a defender. Built up a lot of good will with me by signing over and we got a decent return out of him over the last couple of years but now unfortunately one year too far is spoiling the memory. I still think if we played him further forward he'd do us a better turn than the imposters we have playing there. DF Darren McGregor, no world beater but best we currently have. Worth keeping if only for back up. DF Bilel Mohsni, waste of a wage. Found his level last year. DF Steven Smith, decent cover for Wallace... no more. DF Remie Streete, looked ok but not fit. Quite keen to see if he's really a player or not when he's actually fit. DF Lee Wallace, Struggling in a poor side but we know there's a player in there so hopefully a new manager will bring that back out by not looking for him to do it all. DF Marius Žaliūkas, who? Waste of a wage. If the stories are true about his booze issues he should have been sacked, we're not a re-hab charity. Terrible signing if there was even a hint of this before we signed him. MF Fraser Aird, always thought McKay looked like a better prospect. Doubtful he'll ever be good enough. MF Gaël Bigirimana, see Shane Ferguson. MF Ian Black, where do you start? After betting against his own team he should never have seen another jersey. Waster, coward, imposter ... all fit the bill. MF Robbie Crawford, should have had a run of games last year when the league was won, might never be quite good enough but worth a punt right now, nothing to lose. MF Kyle Hutton, no world beater but I'd start him before Black or Law. This season should finally see the end of him at Rangers. MF Nicky Law, regressed as a player under our "management". Doesn't deserve a jersey as it stands but under a different manager might actually find his feet. Hard to forgive so many gutless performances though so would be happy enough to see him go. MF Dean Shiels, if he can't break into a team this shite then I fear for his career. Another player going backwards which is a shame as I expected him to be good for us. MF David Templeton, luxury player not suited to lower leagues or games that need rolled up sleeves. Undoubted talent but no consistency for us and our journey a wasted wage. FW Kris Boyd, needs to play every week but has been awful for us so at best he's just been stifling the development of others around him who may have had a future. FW Nicky Clark, would be my first pick striker every week. Deserves a solid run. FW Jon Daly, better than Boyd, by a distance. FW Calum Gallagher, I'd have said he was worthy of a bench place and a few sub appearances at least but the loan signing of Vučkić has put paid to that. FW Kenny Miller, done. Time has beat him and all he's done is hold back Clark. Got the passion but not the legs so a wasted wage. Wouldn't keep him as coach or temp manager either as a lot of folk have touted him for, he's done nothing to show he's qualified for either of those positions. Like his spirit but we should never have re-signed him. FW Haris Vučkić, good start and the only loan player fit enough to actually play. Looking forward to seeing what he's got.
  3. No issues when Hearts team was full of Kaunas players or when Desmond was alledgedly paying the wages so septic could get Robbie Keane or Bellamy or whatever one of those deadbeats it was he paid for to try and turn a league campaign around? Thought not. Bitterness is ripping right out of him and that makes me smile.... fuck him.
  4. Great to hear we're not footing the full bill for these guys.
  5. Thats kinda the point I'm making, when was the last decent performance.... yet we're still sitting second. Win our games in hand and we'll be 10 below Hearts and 10 above Hibs with 13 games to go and we've been beyond pish. We've an EGM coming, which should mean a new board, with that it's not beyond possibility we might even get a manager. If we can be that pish and still be where we are in comparison to Hibs any kind of upturn should make a difference. Hibs and Hearts are not exactly Barcelona. Far too early to give up all hope.
  6. Working his ticket, knows the worst that can happen is he'll be sitting in the house on full wages so can say and do whatever the fuck he wants. Every time you hear him speak or read his comments it looks like a plea to get sent home. Whatever happened to sacking someone who was incompetent? Money spent on (up to) four loans would be better spent on a manager.
  7. I'm sceptical, will wait to see who we get and on what terms before getting excited. Assuming we're paying their wages is restricting ourselves to one shop the best deal for Rangers? Or does the fact we have no scout system basically mean we've no-one to look anywhere else for players?
  8. I heard he can count up to potato.
  9. 100% this. Arsehole of the highest order. No class, not a fucking ounce.
  10. Might seem highly unlikely but I wouldn't even write off winning the league yet never mind negotiating a play off or even reaching a play off. Especially if a new board surprises us by bringing in a manager. Decent showing in the cup game and the Hiv's game and we could get a bit of confidence about ourselves, you never know, far too early to chuck the towel in. Plus you never know if hearts will bottle it with a bit of pressure.
  11. Full respect to the men in the stands. Second half a lot better but against a shite bheggars team shows how much we need to improve. Fuck Scott Brown, hate that fucker with a passion.
  12. Fucking BBC.... not even trying to hide it at any point during the game. Wankers.
  13. Mon tae fuck McDowell..... everybody can see it needs new legs
  14. I'd pay good cash money for someone to go right through Brown before this is over.
  15. I wouldn't put temps on, he'd never play in this game or on this park. Daly for Aird sounds about right to me but I'd like to see shiels on before temps
  16. And this against a fucking awful filth team. Breaks your heart. Bit of heart, bit of confidence we could be in this but the heads are down and no-ones shouting, trying to take charge or put the fucking foot in. Shocking. I could take this a lot easier if they at least come out and show a bit of pride and effort.
  17. Blacks going to go through that fucker at some point... clocks ticking.
  18. Never even heard of half of the tramps team, nobodies.... and thats the way the team should be looking at this. Nowt to be scared of. A terrorist lover, a lego eater and a team full of nothings with all the pressure on them. Hopefully Law playing further forward will do them.
  19. Some things in there that was good to read, bit of spin too. They're trying to make it sound like Ashleys deal was way better than T3B and their loan offer going back down to £6m was them renaging, but T3B came out themselves saying the remainder of the £10m would be discussed after the EGM once they knew who was in control and the board then could decide what was necessary. The term "equity release" in there also looks like it could mean cash rather than shares to the value after 3 months and I also think thats deliberate to try and make it look like terms we couldn't pay back. Also a mention of debenture used to raise the further funds but no hint on the terms of that debenture/bond, so were they better or worse than Ashleys terms? Noted as well that with Ashleys offer there's no details in the summation about their "Head of Terms" but we all know that was pawning off another 26% of the retail giving Ashley full rights to issue any amount of shares he wants and dilute the clubs holding to next to nothing if he so chooses. Why not after all if he releases and buys a shitload of shares to do that then he's paying the bulk of the price to himself. That's not even going into the fact the shirt sponsor money will be going into that same pot he owns 76% of or starting on his securities and floating charge and what that could mean. The devil is in the detail with all of this and we still don't know enough about T3B bid to be confident their offer was a great deal better but it sounds to me like it'd struggle to be much worse. The part about Sports Direct not owning shares in any other football team is just semantics, Ashley is Sports Direct, be interesting to see how the SFA etc feel about that but I don't see that playing out well for us if he tries to own us and Newcastle. We'll need to wait and see. I wouldn't neccesarily disagree with him being the owner of a large majority but the way it is with him being a minor shareholder and effectively running the show needs to stop. Retail problems sound like an almighty Green fuck up, no surprises there and nothing we can blame this board for. Novo situation.... pick which side you want to believe, and how much it matters. What Novo says about training at Auchenhowie every summer is fair enough so I don't believe the pish about him just being there to get fit for the Ricksen game but at the same time there shouldn't be an open invitation for ex players to train there at the clubs dollar. I just think it was handled badly by the board and Novo's bitching about it has been a bit too public. Was it to do with him signing up for Rangers First? Don't know and don't particularly care. Cost of board. Great to see them working for a lot less than the folk that were there before bleeding the club for everything they could but any money at all is too much for Somers, you can't show his level of disdain for your customers and expect to stay in a job. Sandy Easdale is, in my opinion, getting a bit of a rough ride. He's taken no salary, loans from him have been interest free and he's owned shares long before King and T3B put their hands in their pockets. I'm wary of him because I don't know exactly who's behind the proxies he has and I don't like how he'd sell out whats best for the club to keep himself in a blazer but at the same time I don't 100% trust the guys trying to take it off him so I'm not totally convinced he deserves to get booted out and I don't see Murray getting his place as an improvement. Egm. Couldn't care less if the next one is in a tent or not but the quicker it happens the better. Ideally I'd like to see King get in, Gilligan get in, Murray only to get a place if he was needed to be there for voting later on so T3B could get a representative on the board but to leave as soon as they had one. Easdale I'm undecided on. Somers to go, Lambias and Leach to go then be placed back on as Ashleys 2 reps until his loan is paid off and at that point if they are proving to be doing a good job keep them. If its a case of Ashley still having the power to appoint two directors whether they stay or go then they have to go as he can't have four. I'm not convinced they are doing a bad job day to day but they can't be doing deals like Ashleys last loan unchecked. Just the same as we shouldn't have a board made up of Kings men or T3B's men running unchecked. To be honest until someone owns most of the club I think it's going to be a crawl back to where we belong.
  20. This.... only I didn't vote yet. I wouldn't be gutted to get McCall but I'd be hoping for someone to apply that would change the whole ethos around the player training and structure of the playing side of the club. Can't really vote until I know who's going to be running the show.
  21. I sincerely hope the rumours about his daughter being ill are wrong and I don't mean to appear callous but if they are true and are the reason he's resigning then shouldn't he actually leave rather than work a years notice? There must be a facility where the board would let him go now without him buying out his contract or getting a payment from us if he wants to spend more time with his family right now, surely that would be simple to agree on as it's in the interests of both parties? I'm sorry but it just smells like "I don't want this job, I'll be shit at this job and I know it, give me a years wages and I'll fuck off". These rolling contracts really need to be a thing of the past, don't ever seem to be in the clubs favour.
  22. Ahhh! ... takes me back to the good old days when supporting the Scottish national team actually felt like the right thing to do. Before it was cunts in the SFA offices and mostly cunts in the stands.
