  1. I'm reasonably sure he spoke in a recent interview about how quick the turnaround of managers can be in English football. He knows and I think appreciates what he's got here. I think he knows this is an opportunity to leave a legacy and build something he himself can look back on with pride regardless of where his career takes him in the future and I think he knows his chances of doing something like that with a team like Fulham are non existent. That's a lot of "I thinks" but honestly I'll be amazed if he goes.
  2. If there's a chance to sign him I'd jump at it. Of the loan signings we have this year he's the one I think is contributing most.
  3. BBC sold us out on Formula 1 coverage as well and have more recently been trying to ditch what little they have left. I look at it more that the first British double world champion in 30odd years won it over a guy that hits a ball around a park with a stick.
  4. Should be a surprise to nobody, everyone everywhere knows they are scum. The only "fans" in the country that can't be trusted with a minutes silence, even their own board know they are scum.
  5. Mark McGhee showing himself up for the Rangers hating arsehole we all know he is by having a pop about EBT's in 2008. Staggering hypocrisy from a representative of a club who went into administration and paid off 19 players they clearly couldn't afford. Putting his wish to be awarded second place in 2008 into further perspective. 2008. That will be the season Motherwell finished 26 points behind us after drawing with us twice. 2008, the year "sporting integrity" was born. That will be the season he played a weakened team against Celtic, including dropping his ever present goalkeeper and giving a 20 year old loan player his place, then immediately returned to a full strength team against us in the very next game. If I was a Motherwell fan I'd be raging he got another job at the club after basically trying to chuck a game to help out his mate at the paedodome, never mind the fact he's got a spotty record as manager. I'm glad he's struggling this season with his shitty club and I'd be delighted to see them go down this year with Dundee Hibs. That'd be a glossy end to the season. From the Daily Mail, same story in a few other rags.
  6. Hopefully on a coach level wage rather than first team starting player wage. Useful back up but even right now I think we're weaker when we play him never mind next season when I'd expect us to be better again. It worried me a little when he said this year he wouldn't be happy being a sub or bit part player, I hope his attitude to that has softened. End of the day though I trust Warburtons knowledge of a player better than mine so good luck to him and I hope he repays the faith his manager has in him.
  7. Not black just very very very very very very dark blue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8VFecEzkgk
  8. Weak response to Dave Kings statement by a hate filled, bigot pandering, nothing of a club with neither the heart or ability to beat us on the park to those titles. If their supporters were anything more than plastic paddy retarded bigots they'd be ashamed to be associated with that statement and everything it says about their club as a whole. Founded on a basis of bigotry and lack of self worth and still holding strong to those ideals they are nothing more than an embarrassment to the sport. They accuse us of being a disgrace to Scottish football and harming it's image in a World and European context and then highlight to everyone exactly who is responsible for the hatred and bile poisoning our game. They are a disgrace and deserve nothing but contempt, I feel ashamed to play in the same league system as them.
  9. Great statement. You've had your fun now shut the fuck up and concern yourselves with your own shitarsed teams. You've been dicks, we know that, you know that, we're willing to let it slide with all the shit in the past because we're fucking better than you. From now on, you want a war? Fucking bring it.
  10. Even Thomson's crawled out of the woodwork to spout more of his hate filled pish. We've turned the corner, we're on our way back and it fucking kills them.
  11. Really, was he though? Clearly I'm no expert on this but there's nothing that I could see to make me think that. In his time players regressed, looked unfit and very clearly underperformed, you can't put the full blame for that on Ally because he changed virtually nothing when he took over so he clearly agreed with the way things were being done. Also, if he had no input whatsoever in the way Ally was doing things then that to me would also suggest he was a weak coach. A good coach wouldn't have stayed so long working for a regime he disagreed with and who were ignoring any opinions he had for improvement in his deprtment of responsibility, he would have sought a different job where he could actually do his job. If he didn't offer suggestions, he's a bad coach. If he stuck around just for the wages, he's not a good coach. IMHO he's as guilty of underperforming as anybody, they failed as a team. Milking the club for every last penny he was due on his contract when he underperformed so badly also, IMHO, prevents him from being considered a solid servant to the club.
  12. His dad went up the street 200 yards to get the police so surely there was no need to call the police after the match (and after the video was released) as his dad had already reported the "incident". They'll know by the fact that no complaint was made during the day that he's a lying spoon burning cunt. When they review the video they'll see one of them just go back and join in the crowd heading away to the game, they'll see no "son", they'll see nothing at all other than him and a couple of his Junkie mates causing hassle on a public road and a bottle coming out of a crowd of scumbags. It should be easy enough to track the bus from its company markings and possibly a plate number from the video so they should be able to get witness statements if they want them. My guess is though they won't be interested, too much work for nothing but the most minor charge and from the evidence they actually have he's the only one that might be in line for a caution. Cunt should be done with wasting police time, that's probably the most serious thing to come from this.
  13. From only players I've watched and think would excel in that formation. Probably leaving a few better players out but it's a team I think could move around a bit and a bench that could cover anyone dropping out. Easiest pick for me would be Arveladze, in this formation he'd be the first name on my team sheet. Goram Stevens Moore Gough Numan Gascoigne Wilkins Van Bronckhorst Arveladze Mols Laudrup Subs Klos, Robertson, Weir, Reyna, B Ferguson, R De Boer, Wallace
  14. No. The bulk of us are already saying he's good for no more than the bench, whats the point in having someone in the squad if you don't have confidence in their ability to play a full 90 minutes. We'll get somebody at least as good for the wage he's earning. Another year older he's not going to get better. Thanks for your service Kenny and good luck with whatever you do in the future but it shouldn't be with us.
  15. Hibs were lucky against Falkirk and by all accounts were hanging on against Raith Rovers as well, I know its a cliche but it's all about what we do rather than what they can do to us. I wouldn't change our formation by putting Ball in at DM and making him sit back more as I reckon over the past couple of weeks the defence is actually looking stronger than it's been as it is. I'm just hoping our attacking/creating players play to the standard they're capable of. If they do we'll win. It's a difficult team to pick and for me its all down to how Zelalem and Oduwa look in training this week, if they look really up for it I'd start them both but they need to be mentally as well as physically ready to do the business and if not then either Law or Sheils in for one and Miller or Clark in for the other. There's very little difference to choose between their replacements IMO so it's who looks mentally ready during the week.
  16. Worst two "tackles" of the game, Keiran Gibbons and Declan Gallagher. I think I'm spotting a theme here.
  17. Seeing that line up I hope Miller is wide, doesn't look that way though.
  18. For that kind of money it is an "ugly house". Characterless box sitting too close to the pavement in front of it with a tiny garden. Mine is a shit tip by comparison but I Only paid £30k for mine 20 years ago, if I was in a position to splash that kind of money on a gaff I'd be looking for better than that.
  19. Cracking video, place is going to go nuts when he gets one in the back of the net Music's not that bad..... better than metal.
  20. I think the only reason he's still here is that Warburton couldn't do everything he wanted in one window and saw Templeton as being good enough for a squad place in this league. He was the weak link in the team at the start of the year and did fuck all last year and very little before that. I don't think we need to give him more time, he's had plenty, if we can get rid of him in January I'd take whatever we could get and send him on his way with our best wishes. I do believe he was partly a victim of the previous regime but I don't think he has the moral fibre to bring himself back.
  21. Cracking player, played a blinder when we won the league at the midden. I'd give my left nut to have been at that.
  22. Great signing, hope he goes from strength to strength. My 2p on the Thomson Hemdani thing, Thomson was by far the better player.
  23. As a player this year he's been fantastic, as a captain he's certainly leading by example and long may it continue. I voted NO and I'm over the moon to be proved wrong. That said, a real measure of a great captain is how you marshall your team and spur them on to great things when you're under real pressure, backs to the wall stuff, and barring a big cup game it's unlikely he'll face that test this year. Considering he's stuck by us through everything, as kirkiebear said, if he goes on to captain us for years lifting trophy after trophy he'll deserve it as much or more than anyone and I'll be fucking delighted.
  24. I was just thinking that. How about Billy Davies? I'm sure I read somewhere once that he might be interested in the job.
