Davies played 77 minutes against st mirren at home. You think that suggests Beale thinks Lundstram is a better option?
He was terrible and it was 2-2 when he was hooked. I genuinely think beale doesn't rate him and obviously wants another CB. The fact he goes to Lundstram when he has issues says a lot.
They are both shite and my initial lineup is only for 1 game hoping that Goldson will be ready after that.

What games?
Ok looking back Davies went off injured which is why Lundstram played a few games at the back. However there were games where Davies was hooked and Lundstram had to slot in St mirren at home was 1 of them.

I’m trying but like most others, i’m struggling to reach your dizzy heights.
Raskin’s a combative midfielder, no one said he was in the team for his defensive work alone, its just you thats come to the conclusion he doesnt like the defensive side of the game which is idiotic at best.
I’ve never posted on a forum for likes, i post my opinion.
Davies is far better equipped to play CB against Kilmarnock away than Lundstram. Beale did not pick Lundstram to play CB over Davies that i can remember.
So you agree Raskin is not in the team for his defensive work, which is pretty obvious and I can base MY OPINION (the same thing you claim to do) on his statuesque effort when we lost that horrific goal against them. He's a baller and if someone is near by he'll attempt to get stuck in but he's certainly not someone who'll work his arse off to get back into position or track someone.
Your clearly on for an argument and likes even though you've agreed with my point.
Davies is woeful and your basically debating wether you'd rather be punched in the balls or kicked.

He didn't pick him ahead of Davies.
Yes he did

Lol so I do know, and I also know Lundstram’s not a decent midfielder never mind defender. If Balogun isnt fit I’d play Davies or even Sterling at LCB personally, but given your eagle eyed assessment of Raskin not liking the defensive side of the game, i’ve realised I’m in the presence of a tactial genius and I can only hope to one day be able to talk absolute shite just like you.
You've excelled in that already
Raskin is not in the team for his defensive ability and pretty clear if you look at the goal we lost against the fenians. Having 2 workers in the middle would give him a free role to play.
It's an opinion, what the forum is for but you'd rather try act the smart arse for your wee bitch likes.
Davies is a fucking bombscare and sterling has only just came back so there's no chance Beale would start him. As I said it's not through thinking Lundstram is good I'd pick him, even beale picked him over Davies last season coz he was brutal.

I can only base my opinion on what I saw.
But forget about them, do you think we are now ready to start the seadon proper ???
I don't think our league is any good and we'll be more than ready against the shite we play against.
Europe might be different as we have defensive issues and fitness issues.
Every manager will tell you they could do with a few more weeks.

Balogun went off with cramp and Davies is a far better option than Lundstram.
Davies is absolutely terrible imo which is why I'd rather pick Lundstram(beale did as well at the end of last season) who is less terrible.
Hopefully Goldson is back sooner rather than later coz it's a worry.

Davies will be fine for Kilmarnock, he’s not good enough long term but he’s a damn sight better than using Lundstram.
Personally I disagree, they are both shite but at least Lundstram will try and tackle someone. Regardless it's 1 game we should win and hopefully Goldson is back after that.

Slightly different in the tarrier rebuild, they started theirs late in the summer when eddie howe knocked them back and they appointed the fat aussie, he brought in players who he felt would suit his style of player and once they settled they rattled every cunt
Beale has been here since november last year, he would have been identifying players who should be fitting into his style right away, and while the new guys will take a bit of settling in time, guys like cantwell and raskin have had theirs yet they still look like they aren't sure of the system we are trying to play
It's a full new forward line and regardless of who's been here before we need to get used to how each other play unfortunately.

Not Lundstram at Cb for a start but you fire in Pep
Lol so you do know that Balogun went off injured, Goldson has only just started training, Davies is fucking woeful and Yfeko certainly won't start..........tell me who you pick beside Souttar coz it's certainly not through the love of Lundstram that I would pick him.

Yeh sima and Dessers haven’t looked great. (Have hope for Dessers though). There’s just a scary lack of pace and width in that team though. Think we will struggle to break a lot of teams down playing like this.
Not sure what else he will do though. He’s gone down this path (no natural wide players) very deliberately so hopefully just teething issues
I just think Dessers is brutally slow even slower than Morelos imo.
I'd prefer width/pace and giving the wide players freedom to either go to the byline or cut inside. As you said he's gone down this path and spent heavily on it.
The balance in the team is way off at the moment and he needs to work on that.

thank fuck you aint the manager
Aye coz your team will look loads different, apart from 2 players we all know the rest are starters ya mongo

This is how I would line up against Kilmarnock, Lundstram is a better option at the back than any of the back up options.
I feel Raskin is not great with the defensive work so having Jack and Dowell in there would give him a free role.
Dessers and Sima have not impressed and Danilo looked a lot more mobile.

Well everyone called it when we signed Balogun

Before the subs the players weren’t pressing high, they weren’t closing the opposition down.
Thats an issue with attitude and application.
Arguably the players that were on for Hoffenheim before the subs could have been a better level which made it harder for us to press.
There's no doubt from our 1st goal we've got a lift and playing better.

Yfeko is not the answer, we need a new centre back and quick

Falls to pieces with him quite a lot as well.
Disagree and I'm not a Goldson fan. We're a better team with him in it, I just don't like his worldy passes he tries all the time and how slow he is bringing the ball out.

We'll see next week, either way both aren't good enough but imo Lundstram is better than Davies who's an empty jersey.
If you refer Davies that's fine, my initial post was about our lineup for 1 game next week, the fact folk have got soo upset over 1 player and arguing over someone equally as shite is laughable.
