  1. He's done ok and I wouldn't be too bothered if he remained in place until the end of the season but not on a permanent basis.
  2. At the end of the day it's only one blokes opinion. He knows no more than the rest of us re the DOF appointment or who/why recommended Caixinha. It might be seen as a gamble but then again there's no guarantees a big spending well known manager would be successful either. Fingers crossed we get it right.
  3. Maybe. Plenty of players have gone from being apparent duds to decent players under different managers. Unfortunately Tav, Kiernen, and Halliday seem to be lacking that quality and awareness that allows me to think they have any future at Rangers
  4. Is there a competition being run by RM for the pettiest moan these days. From non existent booing to players signing autographs. It's like there's not enough to worry about so let's make something up. I swear that it's my mother in law posting these. Give it a rest Ida.
  5. He was good and probably his best game so far but not motm. I agree with Garner getting it just because we've been crying out for goals and he provided them.
  6. Apparently some bloke on our bus had 6-0 @ 33/1 or so he says
  7. Fuck sake I better change my seat cause I didn't see anything today that was a blatant red card.
  8. Nigel Pearson was on meltdown and looked bound for the loony bin towards the end of his time at Leicester. He might have bought the players that formed the nucleus of the team that won the league but under him they just avoided relegation. And his time at Derby after that was a disaster. It's a no from me
  9. He hangs back waiting for a high ball and 9/10 times wins and isn't too bad at directing it into space or towards a team mate. But in the box he seems to have a head like a sponge. Wins it but no power whatever. Seems scared to make a run into the box to get on to a pass and score a goal. Shame really cause he cost a lot of money by our current standards. Gives 100% effort outside the box but doesn't merit pass marks for what he does in it
  10. When did the press ever need a source when discussing Rangers? They make it up as they go and if it is something the club challenge we get a one line retraction hidden in the midst of all other news. They're fabricating the list of candidates cause they know nothing but still need to sell papers and get hits online.
  11. Is there an echo on this forum?
  12. If Ross Wilson is coming it makes an appointment of Pedro more acceptable. Southampton have dossiers on potential management targets and are thorough in their scrutiny of future managers. If Pedro is on their list then he just might be OK. Then again maybe neither of them will end up here
  13. I believe he heard it too, and it is our duty as fellow bears to get him the help he so urgently needs
  14. Being chased by a defender. Another defender barring his way to goal. A third defender slide tackling him. He won a corner and did fine.
  15. As usual we defended like a bunch of kids who had never played with each other before. The forwards also messed up a couple of easy chances. Toral, unmarked, headed wide and Garner from a few yards out somehow hit the post. Both areas have been a problem for ages and I don't see it being fixed until we make some signings
  16. Mohsni and McGregor would probably have fared better than any of the CB pairings we've had since MW came in. We don't have a competent CB pairing that inspires confidence against any opposition.
  17. If the ball isn't bouncing off his ankles, shins, knees etc he is able to beat players but always overdoes it. Beats one then two and instead of passing runs out of ideas, trips over the ball and gives away possession,,, or he balloons it somewhere miles off target.
  18. Just normal decisions that any decent manager would make. Nothing special about it, but it does show how bad MW was when it merits a mention. MW would not have brought on Wilson. He would have carried on with a defender less and goodness knows what the outcome would have been.
  19. I agree. Never thought I would see a Rangers defence that turns their backs on the ball as if they're afraid of getting hurt by it, or fail to challenge in the air in their own box, or drift away from the players they are supposed to be marking, or pass straight to the opposition forwards or.... and so on. It's been so bad for so long that we should not be surprised that we leak stupid goals on a regular basis. We need players that defend as if their lives depend on it.
  20. Aye same with those cnuts fighting in the stands and running on to the pitch.... nah that didn't happen either, but maybe someone somewhere thought it did
