What damage did the Rangers fans cause ? They were accused of damaging LED boards,The only damage i have seen regards LED boards in all the video's after the game i have seen were the ones the Hibs fans pulled over and jumped on both at their end and the Rangers end of the stadium. This is something that irks me, If i recall correctly Rangers were fined around £5k... The club employs the services of the police and stewards to prevent this,The club should have hit them with the bill for failing in their duties or pursued shitey sean in court. UEFA's rules use the strict liability and covers all clubs whether they like it or not,But it's not covered in Scottish football,Had the Rangers Hibs game been a European game both clubs would have been hammered.

They made a rod for their own back releasing two statements more or less about the same thing. They won't act after what happened today,Had it not been thrown out the club could have faced a substantial fine or bill. The strict liability rule is why this has been thrown out and this is why they think it's the answer to all their problems by getting clubs to agree to it,Had the strict liability been agreed it would have been a different matter. Another interesting thing is this... If Hibs legal team has stated that you can't hold clubs responsible for their fans causing damage then in theory Rangers could simply refuse to pay for damage to the toilets at the san giro,But doing that would see the unwashed destroying ours and it's why there is a gentlemen's agreement betwen the clubs to pay for each others damage. But then again,If clubs can't be held responsible for fans behavior then why did the SFA sanction Motherwell for their fans behavior.

Where in the things you posted does it say an investigation has been started into the attacks on Rangers players ? Yes it's a criminal matter,But so too was the Lennon incident... But they launched an investigation the same night.. How long did it take the two of them to comment about the Scottish cup final ? The stuff they said covers what happened after the final whistle,No where does it mention anything about players being attacked,Contrast and compare to what they had to say in great detail over what happened to Lennon and that also was a criminal matter. I think we all know why both of them said what they did regards Lennon.. It was broadcast for days and ran in the papers for weeks and the celtc pr machine in the media went into overdrive.. There has been a huge difference with the coverage of Rangers players who were attacked and instead of focusing on that very thing they paid more attention to the Rangers fans songs and fans on the pitch.

Double standards that's what our board should be asking of the SFA. The board should be raising the question as to why there has been no investigation into the attacks on Rangers players. Both the SFA and the SPL through Doncaster and Regan had plenty to say when Lennon was jumped on at Tynecastle,More importantly it was an SPL game but didn't stop the SFA becoming involved. The Scottish cup final falls under the SFA and yet Doncaster from the SPFL had absolutely nothing to say in regards to Rangers players being attacked on the pitch and neither did Regan... But both had started an investigation on the very night of the Lennon incident. The board can easily ask why was there no investigation and point to the Lennon incident.

This forum doesn't represent the entire Rangers fanbase so i don't get where your 1 in 4 Rangers fans come from. I note also your another one who hasn't taken into account the huge amount of compensation Rangers would have to pay on a manager who has just signed a new three year deal,People for some odd reason seem to think it's just a case of saying on your bike and that simple. We are in no position to start paying off people and what kind of manager would want to come to a club that sacks their manager after a handful of games in the top flight. Weir who will just do the same as Warbuton is doing,Both of them make the team decisions and would be the same under Weir. If Warbuton thinks the players he's brought in are enough to win the title he's in for a very rude awakening and underestimating what's in front of us every week,Warburton may be naive that he thinks the players brought in are good enough quality.. Both you and me know they are not good enough..Championship level yes,But not the Premiership. If Warburton thinks spending a couple of million is enough in a poor league to win it,Then in my opinion he does indeed underestimate the challenge we have,It might be a poor league but no matter who Rangers play it's a cup final. I also agree that i would be more than happy in our first season back finishing second,But given the start we have had against the poorer teams in the league and struggled,Unless suddenly we find a bit of form and start scoring goals and winning games,I reckon if it continues the way it is we will be lucky to get a top five place.

Rangers then go out in the summer and buy 11 new players,He also said that if we have to over invest " we will ". Kings statements are full of contradictions,In one interview he stated that we could challenge celtc,In another he stated he would be happy with second... There are many others that are easy to find. If spending around £2m is Kings idea of over investment in the team to challenge for the league title then we can wave any idea for now or the near future of winning the league. We don't need strikers,We need defenders,We were toothless before Garner signed and still toothless after he signed,The way things are going just now we would have to spend around anything between £15m-~£20m to compete for the title,That would get us the quality we require to then compete,Problem is unless some sugar daddy comes along willing to throw that kind of cash around then we will be also rans for years to come and that's the harsh reality of it.

You can't challenge for the league by spending a couple of million,Not the size of a club like Rangers. But here is the strange thing about this league.... Aberdeen and Hearts don't have anywhere near the budget Rangers have but managed to finish 2nd and 3rd last season.. So in theory Rangers shouldn't have any problem finishing 2nd this season,But the problem is that every team that plays Rangers treat it like a cup final and give more against Rangers than all the other teams they play. Think of a car race every week... You have a Ferrari and racing against mini's,Vauxhall's and Fords and failing to win your races or drawing with much less quality cars and less powerful... That big very expensive Ferrari would be back to the garage and questions asked why it wasn't performing,A quick diagnostic would show that it wasn't firing on all cylinders and a few tweaks and the right firing order would have it much better and performing the way it should.. That's very similar to what's happening right now with the team. But we still lack quality and are absolutely toothless up front despite spending most of our budget on one player who at times looks lost on the pitch,played out of position and at times looks extremely frustrated. Will everything click into place ? Time will tell,But if King thinks we will win the league by spending a couple of million quid he's totally deluded.
