St mirren are 10/1 with william hill on sunday, thats very tempting. If they play anything like they have the last 2 games and st mirren get are on it then theres a very good chance that they are going out.

Silva looks class btw. Some of the stuff he tried yesterday was pretty outrageous. The outside of the foot effort in the first half and the the one in the 2nd with the scissors kick. If either came off they are goal of the season. Looks to enjoying himself and will only get better the more plays. -

That was actually class! Fair play. Add that to his one against Betis. -
Domestic European Football

Mental. Its starting to look like Girona might actually do this. Incredible if it happens, an even more unlikely feat than when leciester won the league. -
Something not right surely with our academy set up. I mind you posted an occasion last season when we played hibs across 4 different age groups and managed one draw and 3 defeats. It might even have been 5 games and one draw,. The same when we played Hearts across different age groups just recently. Not much seems to come through our system, even Bailey Rice was taken in from elsewhere. What do you reckon it is we are doing wrong?

Keeping It Real(ly Shite), Michael Beale
MurrayWilson replied to Davy Vandenbroucke's topic in General Football & Sport
The majority of them hate him already, and i mean hate. He isnt turning that around, he will be gone at the end of the season at the latest with another pay off. He will have done pretty well financially out of the last 2 abortions hes made of his career but what he does from here is another story. Ebbsfleet town or somesuch. -
Poor show that. What he did is basically mansaughter and he should get the upper end of the scale for that. Admitting it or not should make no difference.

The little tit was doing over 60 when he hit the boy, While half stunned. Deserves every single thing he gets.

Aye, in my opinion at his absolute best Gazza was the best ive seen but laudrup very rarely had a bad game. 8 or 9 out of 10 every single week. I saw Cooper many times and one week he could be absolutely unplayable, world class, and the following week he could be hardly in the game. Laudrups consistent level of excellence set him apart. -
Edmiston House finally opening its doors
MurrayWilson replied to esquire8's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Thats pretty poor. The old edmiston house ended up pretty decrepit but back in the day it was booked up with entertainment most weekends which regularly sold out. That made money. Your right though, £1 million a year looks pretty pie in the sky if thats how its going. -

Ffs. That was quick. Oh well, once the new manager gets experience then the profits should increase. -

MurrayWilson replied to esquire8's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The place is only just up and running. When the management get more experience and more event nights are held then surely the profits will increase. The money spent on this will at least see a return every year in contrast to some of the money we have literally wasted on dud players the last so many year. -

Poor, poor stuff. But a training exercise in every way. Will never bother watching a closed door game again. A boring game was made into the most boring ever with KT commentating like only he can. The game did show though how desperately short we are upfront, but everyone knew that anyway. -
Mental that people would pay 7.5k for that. Even more mental that it was even thought of. Clement should read the silly cunts on that board the riot act. Unbelievable. Well, its not but it should be.
-
Best of luck to the lad, sincerely hope it works out for his and our sake. At the end of the day no one is shite on purpose but he was a fish out of water in this league.

Football legend Franz Beckenbauer passes away
MurrayWilson replied to Loyal72's topic in General Football & Sport
It was Beckenbuaer that gave germany and Bayern the aura that they have of being winning machines. The national team has lost its way a bit but that mindset they had was defined by Kranz beckenbauer. Cruyf defined the great dutch and Ajax teams in the same way. -
Football legend Franz Beckenbauer passes away

Jeezo. Another legend gone. Got to have been one of the best 3 or 4 defenders of all time. -
Wrong.
-
None apparently. Not a pen though when you see it again.
-
Completely lost it here. Days as a pundit surely gone forever now. Could be steamin here by the look of it.
-
This might not turn out the pumping many expected. The derby atmosphere making it a bit of a leveller. Not a lot of good football getting played.
