  1. I think Wallace is in the same bracket as the likes of Waggy and Tavernier. Looked oustanding at lower league/championship level where his fit ess was head and shoulders above the opponents but he is average in the prem. I thought he was average last season for the majority even before bis injury but he gets away with much more from the fans due to his loyalty.
  2. "*too many" If you're going to call people idiots you should at least use the correct grammar hen. Otherwise you look like...well an idiot. Ma da's dugs baws maw is best pals wae a guy who plays Fifa wae Neil Doncaster and she swears on her grannies baccie tin that youre talking pish.
  3. I forwarded it too far and started with some guy talking about "bonds" thinking 007 then realised he was saying "bands".
  4. Jamie Walker. Reminds me of wee Neil McCann who was so underated for us.
  5. Be right gutted if they get him to the Christmas no1. Spot but. Gave 100% but so would any of us here and we'd all be utter pish and stealing money. All the best lad.
  6. Well he was pretty open on Twitter to shut down rumours about him being axed so hopefully you get a response. It was only taken in April so Its shocking to be in that shape and for me shows lack of commitment and professionalism. I'm sure MW said something about if he applied himself in training then he would be first on the team sheet so he must have a problem with discipline and fitness. Cunt is stealing a living. I played Sunday junior league and if i showed up like that i would be sent packing.

  8. 100% real mate. Taken directly from Willie Vass website.
  9. I like the idea of two up top. Its ok creating and getting the ball out to the wings but we did that enough last season and were simply popping the ball into the box where one striker was against 2 or 3 defenders. Both Hererra and Merelos look like the type of players who work well with someone alongsode them up top where i think Kenny will be useful. Also see a lot of people mentioning Dalcio in the starting 11 but i'm worried he is another Dodoo. Hasnt featured much for anyone and apparently he is more of a midfielder than out and out winger. Hopefully Jamie Walker arrives and fills one of the wide roles.
  10. Windass has potential i think but theres no time for potential in our team just now. He looked bright towards the end of the season especially against Hearts where he made some great runs supporting the attackers and got a man sent off for them but theb failed to turn up the next game. Would like to see him stay and devlop but wouldnt be too bothered to see him go either.
  11. I won the African Cup of Nations 6 years in a row with Grimsby using that formation.
  12. I am a fan of Big Wes. He is a great shot stopper and good on one on ones. There were a few games last season he kept the scoresheet reasonable. Yes, he may not be commanding in the box....Was Klos? We have been spoiled for years with great keepers from Gorum to shagger so naturally our expectations are high but i do think with a good back line Wes is fine.
  13. Silly bhoy. With a new manager in this was his chance to impress. Dodoo seems to have a new lease of life and he could have had the same had he tried.
  14. Sadly he is becoming a bit of a scapegoat. How many other players do we have in the team who will actually run at defenders. The ball is like a hot potato sometimes but at least he will have a go. I dont mind players losing the ball having a go at the defenders. Would rather that than losing it with sloppy 5 yard sidewards passes. Granted he didnt have a great game today but on a few occasions he got to the byline and got a cross away or won us a corner. His deliveries from corners were also excellent today and there were numerous players who had a worse game than him imo.
  15. Even before the prick got sent off he turned his back for their goal. Id give David Yates some game time before this fraudster.
  16. Heard its a straight swap deal for Andy Haliday. Really glad the wee man got that goal. He was dragging us forward himself at times. Also i hope this doesnt give Kiernan a get out of jail free card. His moment of brain freeze almost cost us. He is not fit to wear the jersey and in all honesty id never give him a game again. Useless cunt.
  17. One thing that is for sure in this whole debacle is that we can't panic and rush into a decision here. I think this is arguably our biggest decision on a manager in the history of our club where we have to give them 3 years or whatever to stop them. We also have to stand by him. We can't financially compete with 'them' just now and sure, it matters who has the biggest stick, but Claudio Raneri showed us it matters a hell of a lot more who is swinging it. Our time will come again though and i can't fucking wait.
  18. Yes, but he also spent at leastover £30million on players in his tenure. Not including free transfers. 2011/12 €14m 2012/13 €6m 2013/14 €7 2014/15 €5
  19. Still not sure about FdB. I agree he is probably the best name we have been linked with however. Whilst it's difficult to judge him on his Inter Milan tenure, it's equally as difficult to judge him on his Ajax tenure. Yes he won 4 in a row, but he did so with players at his disposal such as Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen, Luis Suarez, Blind, De Jong, Milik, and more household names. He also had many Warberton traits. When he changed tactics or made subs, it was only really to shift around personnel without any alterations to the game plan and as such, good opponents eventually developed the ability to neutralise Ajax for the most part. Even a brief glance at his short Inter Milan stint shows them 12th in Serie A and last in the Europa League. My main concern with him is his lack of experience as well as ability to handle pressure. On the bright side thoigh his record against them is not bad. Played 3 won 2 drawn 1. :)
  20. Maybe being paranoid but it seems Warberton being in London talking to "a potential signing" yesterday may have actually been meeting Nottingham Forrest reprasentitives. If thats fallen through that could be why he has u-turned his resignation.
  21. Aye bravo was class for that. Used to watch ECW then UFC. Fuuuck i forgot about him, Telligman or something his name was. Kinda felt uneasy watching him fight.
  22. We were spoiled back then. Chuck vs Tito were great fights. Then rampage vs evans, BJ Penn, coture GSP. Mcgregor is a one man show now and i dont think he'll stick about long.
