Murty’s record since being officially appointed
the old guard replied to Essandoh's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We're scoring for fun, but he really needs to sort that defence out, if he can pull that off then he starts to win me over. Also got to remember we are without a host of players who are injured. Signs are encouraging though. -
Why Murty should get the Rangers job Permanently.

Spot on, unless an outstanding candidate becomes a possibility then we should stick, the usual candidates don't give me much optimism. -
Froze at ibrox once again, 11th March a big game for him to rectify this.

I would love to put a few quid in the kitty, what's the easiest way to donate? I have a year old spaniel myself, brilliant companion. -
I'd be happy to play them all away, we are a better counter attacking team than trying to break down defensive set ups at ibrox. Won't happen tho.
-
He's used to playing for a team that sits in and plays on the break, he'll adjust to our way of playing and will get better game by game, can already see he is getting fitter and will be an asset.

Windass should take a leaf out of ally McCoist book, McCoist got more abuse than windass ever will, but he used it to good effect, tried harder and improved and won the fans over, can't remember McCoist ever shushing the fans. He'll never be a McCoist but he should try a hell of a lot harder imo.

17 points dropped since Pedro left.

Inconsistency is killing us, you can't play 3 games out of 5 at Rangers, you have to be at it every fuckin time you cross the white line, until we find a manager that can motivate and set a team up properly we will always be second best to Brenda, for me the board are again selling us short, and I'm sick of it, this season has definitely been a missed opportunity -

Agreed, we need a proper captain on the park, holt being captain sums us up right now. -

If there is improvement then its very slight, I think we now have a better squad but our real problems lie with consistency and considering who we have dropped points to then motivation is a major problem, if murty can't get them up for it then he's got troubled times ahead. -

I'll make it easier for you, 17 points dropped since murty took over....... That better? -

Because we should be learning from the past, clearly we still seem to be making the same mistakes, tactically we haven't progressed at all. -
Have we really improved?
-
Let them come to us!!
-
That's how I honestly view it mate, the revenue involved if lawwells end game succeeds would be massive, we're already playing catch up and will be for the foreseeable imo.
-
This won't just go away, dangerous times ahead.
-
I've been one of his biggest critics regarding defending, by fuck he's been kidding us on, outstanding tonight.

The 16yr old boy outshone him imo, he won't be at hearts for long if he keeps improving. -
Best window since Walter returned?
the old guard replied to KingKirk's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We've signed four players on loan, none of whom got a regular start with there parent clubs, I hope they now all have something to prove and it works well for the players themselves and us, time will tell but to be honest I have a good feeling about most of them hitting the ground running. -
With proper coaching and a good mentor he could be world class in a year or two, love his attitude when he scores for us, just needs experience and taught to make the right decisions at times and we might just have unearthed a diamond.
