How can you pay Corporation Tax, which is a Tax on a company's funds within its accounts at the end of the financial year, if there is nothing there to tax? What is 19% of £0? There is nothing wrong with running a company in this manner, where shareholders are not looking to make money from said company.

Because then you’d pay Corporation Tax at 19% and shareholders would be looking for dividends. Thats the whole point of running at a deficit. It means we don’t have tax to pay, and there are no dividends. We’re running at a deficit out of choice, not because we don’t have enough income.

I hope we look to bring a couple of the youngsters through from the development squad. Some of them have been knocking on the door for quite a while and deserve a chance to show what they've got. I don't buy into this "They're only kids", when the lads are at least 18 y/o. It doesn't matter what age they are, if they're good enough, they'll step up. If not the go back to the development squad for a few months or out on loan.

It’s funny to watch that actually. If you pay attention to SG, it’s as if his whole mentality/demeanour changes once it’s time to start the drill. I'm surprised his family isn't coming up. He's mentioned before that after a game of football, particularly the disappointing ones, he loves nothing more than spending time at home with the kids and his mrs to help take his mind off it. He obviously knows what he needs better than any of us do, I just hope he's able to switch off without them being there as having family around can do the world of good.

I prefer him to Wes. The fact that he actually comes out at crosses/corners and commands his box makes such a difference. After making that double save today he was rightfully giving the lads in the wall absolute pelters for letting the ball through.

McCrorie is a CDM. Looks much more comfortable in that position rather than CB. Thought he was outstanding when he came on, hunted the ball down a fair few times.
