Who is your favourite player of the last 5 years
The Blues replied to The true baller's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
My favourite player would be Candeias. Always gave100% and linked in well with Tav. Scored some spectacular goals. -

We have gone from Europa finalists to absolute minnows in 4 months. The standard between Europa and CL isn’t that wide. -
***The Official Sheep v Rangers Official Thread***

I’d play Yilmaz at left back and move Borna forward into a left side attacking midfield role with instructions to cut inside as well as firing in crosses.I’d play Alfie on the right side of midfield with instructions to get forward into the box when we are attacking from the left. -
Are we prepared to write off this season?
The Blues replied to beararse's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Naw…lost one game so far….not counting the Belgian team as we won over two legs. -

The Blues replied to Craiggybear's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We were well beaten on Saturday but all four goals were down to goalkeeping errors and soft defensive errors with too much space between back 4 and defensive midfield. This can be remedied. We have a good recent record against Dutch/Belgian teams. I think we can get a result. -

I expect Ajax will be confident but we can get a draw or even win it but our keeper has to do his job and we must defend that area around the centre spot as we lose goals from low crosses coming in that area that should be cleared easily. Also we mustn’t switch off at corners. -
Too many players off form including Kent but he can be very good when on form
-
Get Leon back …. he was one of the players who got us through to EL final.

The Blues replied to ForeverAndEver's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
If they had scored earlier we could have lost the game. The nine man tactics didn’t really work. Bringing on King was a mistake. Sakala should have been on and told to run himself into the ground up front. -

We were just edging it before the two red cards but let’s face it we weren’t playing well. -

On the plus side our best player today was Barisic. Great cross for the goal. -

Lundstram had to make that challenge after a poor ball by Kent. Alfredo was a bit unlucky not to get a yellow but did have his arm up. -

Played too deep even with 9 men. A better team would have hammered us. Hibs had about 6 good chances in that time but scored with a long range effort. We should have kept our shape with Arfield told to run himself out upfront and then replaced with Sakala told to do likewise. -

The Blues replied to G.E.C.'s topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
2-1 would have been a better result but now there is no point in setting up defensively over there. I think Kent will get plenty of room and I would also play Matondo on the other side. They concede goals. I think we still have a good chance of going through. -
He will score if he gets chances but we got to give him the chances.

At least we know not to play defensively next week. Kent will get space and cause them problems as will Tillman. We still have a chance. -

Any win tonight is a good result. -
A bit like some of the other young loan players from major clubs we have had over the last few years. Skilful on the ball with a great touch and looks the part but he needs games as he has only ever played 7 professional games at top level before he came here but he has got a lot of promise.

Alfie can play up front on his own in a way not many players can and has a track record of scoring away from home in Europe. A fully fit Alf could have made a difference last night and nicked a goal from nothing. He is one of our star players along withKent and Tav. Offer him the money and get him signed up.

Central midfield, and the lack of investment
The Blues replied to graeme_4's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We need a creative midfielder with a proven track record that wants to play through the middle. We need to spend the money and pay the wages to get him. -
Central midfield, and the lack of investment
The Blues replied to graeme_4's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
We should have spent half of the Calvin money, say, 10M on a creative midfielder to play through the middle to give us more options. -
I thought he did well but final ball off a couple of times. He will win a lot of free kicks in the spl. Promising debut.
