Sorry guys but……Get Ferguson in now

It makes commercial sense. He is in the Swiss squad and they are not a bad side. If he can bag a few goals for us and score a couple in the wc his valuation will shoot up. It’s worth the risk. He never got a chance this season after performing well in pre-season and scoring against Real Madrid and Arsenal (also Partick?)…ok he was given one game..Malmo where rest of team didn’t turn up.

Nice guy and never let the club down. He was just not getting game time under SG or GVB. This gives GVB gives a chance to assess Cedric before making a decision there as well. Hopefully Cedric starts knocking them in for fun like he was doing in the Swiss league and does for the Swiss national team.

Paterson should either be playing or sold. We cannot afford the luxury of having a player like this on the bench. Tax is captain etc. etc. but NP has amazing potential to be as good as Andrew Robertson etc.

He is not fast enough to be a winger but he worked hard last night. I would like to see him play more in the middle as his guile is essential against better quality opponents.

Stevie G did well but I reckon we now have a more experienced manager that has got us playing in a less predictable way.

He would have got man of the match if he had scored with the lob… He is doing well just now. He is not in the box as we no longer play that type of game where we are just throwing in hopeful crosses.

He was poor today but as usual you can’t fault his commitment etc. and he is playing out of position with limited experience. Prefer him at full back which is his position and overall he has done well in filling in at centre back but the sooner we get Helander, Balogun and Katic back the better. Not sure why we signed Simpson on a long contract if we are never going to play him.A bit like Barker . I hope both these lads get a move and first team football elsewhere.

I like Roofe if he is fit. We have got to give Roofe and Sakala a proper run upfront. I’m a big supporter of Alfie but we need more options up front.

Maybe a season too far with us for JD and the coaching thing put him in an awkward situation when SG left. He has never let us down and I am sure he would have wanted to play more this season. I think GVB has made it clear that he will be used as a player for the rest of the season and I think we might need him.

Good result. Played too deep at times in 2nd half but plenty positives. Alfie back on form and Bassey just getting better.

Starts with a clean sheet like everyone else. It might help in a way that both GVB and RM played at the highest level in top leagues and this Is obviously Alfie’s long term ambition to do likewise. I think Alfie will do well with the new management.

It all starts on Thursday. Players must show Gio that they want to play for him and the club in general.

The best player to play for Rangers was Claudio Caniggia but the best Rangers player was Brian Laudrup.

We have squad players that never feature and some players that want a move. These players should be moved on and new faces come in.

Ok he needs some new faces in Jan and we need to transfer some players out for whatever we can get for them.

He needs 5 or 6 new faces in in January. The current team is running on empty.

Time to move some of the old guard on. Ryan Jack for now but sign Lewis Ferguson as vice captain and ready to take over.

Said on here a few weeks ago that Paterson was our most valuable player. This is even more the case now.
