The Blues

Players have done us proud. The injury to Alfie was the big blow. This cost us the league and we could have done with him tonight. We have the backbone of a very good team but it’s now up to Gio to improve it with his signings.

We need to win every week and also play in Europe. Players have to hit the ground running and perform as soon as they get here. He has a lot of potential but has played very few first team games in front of big crowds. Man U should send him on loan to Championship/League 1 or in fact other SPL team where the expectations are not as high and he can play every week and get his game time up.

Europa would be the biggest achievement ever of the club but……it’s nice to have 55 in the bag also

Winning the Europa league would put the valuation of our players at a higher level and bring prestige to the club recognised round the world.

Reminds me of Niko Kranjcar. Great player with nice touches but too injury prone to get a decent run. I hope he can turn it around but don’t think it will be with us.

Roofe can win this for us. He takes a few games to get up to speed after injury and now looks good. He has confidence and will convert decent chances but we must make chances for him. I would have Barisic at LB. Bassey has done well but maybe time for a bit of a rest after his first season as a regular and Barisic has shown in the past that he can create pinpoint chances from left wing.

Bring back Helander and Barisic. Play Itten and Roofe up front. We did okay with this at the start of last season and we were actually scoring goals.

Too many players off form and none of the new signings/fringe players have really made themselves a starter apart from Lundstram and Bassey

Australia….just send out a team loaded with youth and fringe players and make 5 changes at half time if we are losing…..good team building for the team and some sun at a crap weather time of the year….Get over it.

Club needs to make money…..it’s a special program. Dykes is a big lad….and would have been a good signing as a squad option….hoof it up to the big man when you are chasing a goal with 10 minutes left.

Brilliant second half…..Tav,Alf,Kent and Calvin outstanding

He can play up front on his own and hold up the ball and bring midfielders into the game and he also scores goals. This is a rare type of forward player. He has got even better recently. He no longer gets into trouble with refs and gets sent off but he still plays on the edge. Hope we get him signed up on a new contract but got a feeling he could be gone this summer for very big money.

He is an attacking full back asked to play like a old style defender. He ended up playing three positions and not managing any. Where are our centre backs for the third goal…totally out of position. Borna is a good player but like a lot of players in the team he is totally off form.

Itten and Sakala up front if Roofe not available.

He should be on the bench until he can find some form. As shown in the past he can make an impact when he comes on late in a game.

Ferguson is good enough. 4m is too much but maybe 2.5m would be good business.

We have to try Alf and Ced on at the same time if offensive midfield is just not happening like last night. We can then just hoof it up and hope Ced can get a few knock ons for Alf.

Get Ferguson in. Doesn’t put a foot wrong and can take a penalty. Once he puts on the blue jersey people will get behind him.

You can go on about the referee but we were lucky to get a point last night.

Defence did okay last night considering the pressure they were under.

We lack offensive midfield players……GVB needs to remedy this
