I think we can safely assume the players would have preferred Beales coaching to this current regime. Remember worrying when I heard the 'tricks are for the circus' chat. Kent has been shite but he's gone from being a confident big game player with license to roam and hurt teams to a pretty orthodox winger, and I dont think thats really his game. He doesnt look like he enjoys his football the way he used to. Same with Kamara, even Davis last few games. Examples of players being asked to do a job that doesn't really suit them, after all Ross Wilsons bluster about continuity

There is that risk, but I'd still look into it as part of a shortlist. Agree there are lower risk options.

I know he’s been mentioned before but Knutsen from Bodo really should be looked into. Has a really effective and exciting modern style of playing and we cld then start to actually buy players that fit a profile and a system. Wont be long before he gets a chance with a bigger club

Sadly the more time Gio gets to work with them on the training ground the more we regress.

The players should be more motivated than ever to go out there and restore some pride in the Champions League with a battling performance. Sadly, the body language atm will likely see them look defeated from the moment they step out onto the park. The credibility of the club is at stake here, they need to show us something. Gio needs to find a way to make us compact with pace on the break. The gaps all over our shape lately has been nothing short of criminal.

Our 'shape' is a joke atm. Lundtram sitting in midfield and then a flat line in front up him up high, no-one showing for the ball. its headless chicken stuff. And his decision making is baffling. Our wide options are all shite but even when one of them shows a little hint of form they are dropped the next game for someone else. Its a complete mess atm and Gio doesnt know how to fix it.
