  1. If we actually had players who were picking up a wage fit and available like they should be (Helander, Souttar, Davies) then we probably woulcn't need to have this debate. We are absolute idiots when it comes to signing players with known injury problems, or that haven't played a lot of consistent football.
  2. Their left winger is the best player in Italy at the moment, will be some shift.
  3. I remember Valencia being described as being in crisis and 'the Spanish Aberdeen' prior to an opening Champions League away game once. Pinch of salt and all that.
  4. We need to come out on the front foot. If we try sit in and keep it tight, it plays into their hands. Allows them to build momentum and get the crowd behind them. If we start to dominate the ball and create chances they will panic. They like to bully the SPFL dross but we've played better than them regularly in last year and have beaten them, we shld be confident to take it to them.
  5. A bit harsh on loyal fans that have already spent a fortune traveling to support the team, who could have been doing with payment flexibility or options to help them 'afford it' more easily over a period, rather than taking the hit all at once.
  6. Under Jack Ross they have shipped 23 goals in 4 games. Traditionally it might be a tougher fixtures, but context is important. They are a complete shambles at the moment.
  7. Jack Ross must now be only 3 or 4 more sackings and a couple more 9-0s away from the Scottish media questioning his ability as a manager.
  8. I think we can safely say based on that picture Gyros has had a bigger influence over him than Puskas.
  9. Will save some money and grab a Paesano and then pick a fight with someone on a moped in Glasgow. Get the full Neapolitan experience at a fraction of the price.
  10. On top of his talent seems a great character, positive and gets it. Tremendous business for the price
  11. Would like a playmaker to give us what Davis does, a striker to replace Roofe as well. CB depending on injury situation
  12. Sounded great in my heid after a few Taliskers. Will be deleting it with the fear the morra no doubt.
  13. Incredible timing for challenges, incredible heart in the challenge and good on the ball. Boy showed so much and he is only 22. He was a hero tonight
  14. Pretty pished but honestly, I get that we love Rangers and passions run high, but we are stronger as a unit. Cunts on here wanted players out and manager etc and due to scrap each other Its never going to be perfect, it never was, even under Smith. When we get together, like the players and staff did tonight, we are a club liek no other. Everyone else hates us, because we have a spirit thats unreal. Look at Ibrox and us in Europe, it wins us games. Theres gonna be bumps in the road this year but this manager and these players have shown we are capable of big things. Critcising performacnes and decisions is ok, but meltdowns after fuck all arent needed, lets fucking stick together and get behind this team. Let them come after us with jealousy, we are stronger together - Rangers family till we die.
  15. Elland Road was unreal but at that time we had a team that could have won the English league. Given what we were up against and where we have come from, I think this is a bigger achievement, but its a close choice mate
  16. I've read so much criticism of these which for me is way over the top. Gerrard was great at giving media soundbites but Gio strikes me as a doer, not a talker. He doesnt need to rely on rhetoric, he is classy, professional and focused on game plan, and flexible and tactically sound. he also speaks about the facts of the game and tactics, not resorting to rhetoric or throwing players under the bus when things go wrong. Might seem a strange thread to start tonight but its been annoying me for a while, his actions speak louder than words and he is clearly a leader of men, who makes big decisions and inspires the team, and keeps calm. Obviously he wont get it right every time but he has in the big moments. Thats one of the best nights of my life as a Rangers fan, and his leadership was essential. He has so much of the attributes I want in a manager - lets stick together and get behind a man with class that bleeds blue. WATP.
  17. Decided blind optimism and getting completely pished is the best option. Us to go through on penalties.
  18. This whole situation makes it even more fucking infuriating that Kemar Roofe, who is one of our top earners I'd guess, can never ever get himself fucking fit.
  19. A lot of the media are pretty bad in general for leading questions, but the nature of our leading and safe 'positive-spin' questions via this media is nauseating at times. "How much does it say about the mentality of the players that they came back and won after going a goal behind" yawn rinse and repeat. Would rather we got proper insight and asked at least some difficult questions at times
  20. Sands would really worry me tbh. Would be a huge step up in class from anything he's faced before. At least Davies has been playing against world class players in training. Would also have gone for Jack (or maybe Kamara), primarily as cover for Tav if he bombs forward given Tillman is likely to be an inside right. Will see when actual team comes out
  21. Will be emotional tomorrow night, my best mate lost his old man to MND a few days ago, he was a massive bear. I always remember them two getting tickets for Parma 2-0 when I was at school, a repeat of that will do nicely in his honour. Horrible fucking illness.
  22. Really liked Naismith at the time and was a good player, but he didn't half end up a sour faced irritating greeting wank whenever he played against us.
  23. Castore limited edition qualifiers blue raincoat.
