Big Lebowski would provide some light relief after a few of them! Great films to be fair. -

The thing I hate about this stuff is how everyone falls over themselves to talk about how offended they are, when deep down they're not really impacted or affected by it at all. They would hardly give it a moments thought in reality, never mind get hurt or upset. I'm the same when its done the other way round, couldnt care less tbh. Its all the morale posturing online with everyone falling over themselves to take the high horse and show how morally virtuous they are. I actually laughed in the stadium when I seen it, and knew what it was about. Aye it was a bit daft but it was a windup - I'd rather a joke these days about that stuff anyway. I think football needs to calm down a little trying to be some form of moral spokesperson (just feels a bit token when its too much), its about winning and tribalism against your rivals, and that's what makes it. -
Fair play to him - looks really dangerous going forward. I thought that volley was going into the top bin Jonas Thern style at the end.

Ended well when folk called Valencia the Spanish Aberdeen years ago! Anyway, lets do this Rangers. Put this arrogant mob in their place. -
love it mate - saw them having a laugh during the warm up on Satruday as well. The great Rangers teams in my life were built on strong relationships. Long may it continue, and do the business on the park.

I have concerns about the general strategy/formation and suitability for players we've invested in to play that. But I'm convinced we have some really good players, and have the potential to win what we need.

He's a class act. His touch, ability to get away from a man in tight areas, eye for a pass, pressing, and runs into the box are superb. Honestly, he's our best player.
-
Give him credit for stepping up when it mattered, and having a great second half. That press and turn when he had no right to win the ball and won a free kick was superb. Delighted with him tbh, he's young and will only get better.
-
Biggest concern is that we are less than the sum of our parts atm, because we are trying to shoehorn in tactics that worked in the 55 season, when we have a different profile of players.

better start using all that 'great feedback' we were getting preseason as we cant afford to fuck up Wednesday.

Can't understand Beale's thinking here. At end of last season we had a fit and firing Cantwell, who looked happy and dangerous every time he was on the pitch, in an advanced position. I would have expected the summers business to be built around that, not build him out of the team. He didnt look happy when he came on yesterday, didn't have the same aura of confidence he had end of last season, was trying too hard and it wasn't coming off for him. Cant fucking understand for the life of me why we would mess with the thing that really looked to be working best for us end of last season. Baffling.

Might just be an auld grumpy bastard but Kamara still gave me some great moments. Scored in a European semi final. Fell off a cliff last year but not a fan of slaughtering a guy that came cheap, gave us good moments, even if it didnt end well -

Butland Tav Souttar Davies Yilmaz Jack Raskin Dowell Cantwell Danilo Lammers I know it's only Kilmarnock, but I'd rather we controlled the game, pushed the full backs high and protected them with players in midfield that can cover. Yilmaz was terrible at weekend, but rather than stick with Borna I'd rather see if Ridvan can improve and capture some of the promising form he showed in flashes last season, hoping he's better with some cover in front of him. Its still a nightmare picking a left back atm. Jack covering Tav and helping Raskin play with a bit more freedom. Cantwell back in his best position where he was the main man for us. Dessers not starting until he gets sharper and up to speed. Defence still gives me the fear, so giving some cover. -
Concerned we aren't using Cantwell to his potential by having him right side of a midfield 3 to accomodate Lammers. Would much rather see him in the role he played at the end of last season. Also, current system leaves us vulnerable against better teams as our full backs arent getting covered and dont have the athleticism/form they had in the 55 season.

Guys, its been a long time since I posted on this, we've been waiting for fucking ages, but wanted to say we've got the best news we could have hoped for. The disease is contained and theres a plan to resolve it. I'm gonna be running a wee night in Stevenston to raise money for prostate cancer, and will be doing music etc. Want to thank everyone on this forum for your words, it really means a lot, and we'll have a night in July and the old man is doing good and hopefully we get this cunt of a disease sorted. We are the people. Thanks everyone, this place has been superb on this, thank you.
