Smith ,who died in 2010,was part of the very formidableTottenham Double title team in the early 1960s who Rangers came up against in Europe.A big hulk of a guy,very ungainly, who tackled like a foward.His late mistimed lunge on Eric was an absolute shocker.

We have a significant role to play in taking the BBC to task in their treatment of our club on TV, radio and other platforms like Twitter and their 'selectivity' and clearly evidenced bias and negativity about all things 'Rangers'.

He took that 5-0 thrashing rather badly.....he is not only protesting too much but going into overkill...with media connivance.
On the BBC live radio commentary they were actually salivating about how much Clarke would have to say about his keeper being sent off which ,to a man, in their commentary team was never ,ever a red card.Rob McLean actually talked about the Killie 'penalty' that was not given backed up by his fellow moon howlers like Richard Gordonand the rest.

Nacho Novo in Rangers News ..extract...
'Novo didn’t mince his words with his thoughts on the governing body in Scottish football, holding strong opinions about what goes on at the SFA. Whilst Novo has been ‘very impressed’ with the way Gerrard and his men have played this season, he has been less pleased with how the SFA have been operating this term.
Novo believes there is bias towards celtic in the SFA and in the media.
“For me personally, there is mafia in the SFA, in terms of they are ran by celtic.
The newspapers are exactly the same and that’s obvious. You can see it from a mile away,” Novo told Rangers News.
That’s how I see it. Look at Alan McGregor’s tackle on Lewis Ferguson.
Now if you look at Scott Brown’s challenge on Daniel Candeias, that’s worse. It’s a straight red, yet Brown doesn’t even get a booking. If he was took to a panel they would still say no.
“It’s just these stupid things. If it’s one rule for one team, then that should be the rule for others as well. You can’t keep celtic directors or Rangers directors on the SFA panel. If people aren’t going to stop them, we aren’t going to go forward, we’ll be going backwards. It will affect the young players.”
ON sectarianism issues..
Whilst there are several issues within this topic, the Spaniard believes the mainstream media perhaps give the subject too much exposure. Novo believes the media have to be careful in the way they report the topic.

The whole system is entirely skewed ,biased and thoroughly discredited and that is backed up by factual evidence and selective myopia.

My most distinct memory from the game is the titchy Queen's goalie called Jocky Robertson who may have played at some time for Third Lanark too.The wee man kept the score down.

We are top of the obsession league....no surprise there.
They obsess and analyse every single incident involving our players like a demented deranged dog pawing repeatedly at an imagined mark on the pavement.Even in live media commentaries they squeal with excitement ..as Walker did at the McGregor incident with Ferguson.

Post match he was more interested in talking about us than his own team.One or two Freudian slips in his dialogue and demeanour revealing his envy of Rangers size and bigger budget.Clearly irked that the coveted second spot in the League (at best) for the sheep is slipping away.His comment about Morelos and the red card bordered on ridiculous and was disrespectful...from a guy who doesn't believe his own team and his ego do not get enough respect.He is hurting that he did not step up and grasp the Rangers job when it was offered.The dressing room antics is just the icing on the cake.A very sore one for him last night.

I had a bad feeling about this game pre match with the piss awful freezing cauld rain and mini gale .I thought some of our players would not fancy it.Aberdeen are a big physical side and were up fot it.
