gordov 17
Giorgos Efrem had joined Omonia Nicosia....nice of Rangers to let us know! (sarcasm) Anyone know of other players to leave?
Scott-RFC 308
I was told a while back by one of the reserve players he would never make it at Rangers
Amac9 2,060
I read this today in the Evening Times. Walter Smith probably does not even know who he is!
FlippinEck 3,750
Zurawski signed for them today aswell
Muff 245
Did he not reject a new contract at Rangers? Anyway, we'll be due some compensation from Nicosia. His loan spell at Dundee was pretty successful, and, the ST holders at Dens who I speak to were impressed with him.
gordov 17
I know Ross Harvey has gone and Furman is going but not sure of any other as yet!

Thing with that is, its the reverse of people here looking at players from other SPL clubs etc. Dundee are division 1, so, would expect even a "not up to standard" Rangers youth player to look good there, certainly doesnt mean they are good enough for us. Tumshie 205
Everytime i saw Efrem I was quite impressed but with him, Dailly and Hemdani the stripping of the deadwood has begun

Cant wait till next season!

Cant wait till next season! i have said it once and will undoubtedly say it a million times... these 'amazing youth prospects' cant win there own league. therefore not good enough. therefore being moved on. they will keep the ones who performed consistently but anyone who only fits the promising description whilst playing in reserves/under19s should be moved on. we are league champions. now there are standards of consistency and talent to be matched. and no half-performing 19 year old should be kept just because they are young. Like many of our youngsters It was rumoured that we put the entire reserve team and youth team up for loan because our financial situation was so bleak in January. If we wanted to put Efrem out on loan for experience then I doubt we would do that to punt him a mere six months later.

Like many of our youngsters to be honest, has any of the management ever came out and said this? Like they have with Fleck etc who have featured in this first-team this season..... No they haven't, Its all hear say by people who have watched him once or twice etc. End of the day if he could of done a job for us in the first-team he would still be here, simple. Get over it people. A very small percentage of Youth Talent make it in the rangers first team, We have a large youth system so can filter through the best crop of player to play for us. And this hasn't been the case with Efrem, good luck to him in the future.
rangersross 6,579
I have every faith in our youth coaches, if he was good enough: we'd have signed him. It's also worth remembering a top-EPL club's youth academy decided he wasn't good enough either - so it's not as if he's likely to turn up at Barcelona in three years time demanding an eight-figure transfer fee. disgruntled_bear 157
It was expected, we have got to remember were downsizing and that includes youth players like Efrem.
