CanadianBacon 2,088
The older I get the less tolerance I have to drink. I'm trying to ween myself off it so that one day I'll be able to proudly announce that I'm down to seventeen units per day.
Guest therabbitt
Superb night. Really great event with some really good speakers (Nichol in particular!) and one not so great, which was a shame but nevertheless the rest of the night made up for it in spades. Bomber, Nichol, Hubbard, Simpson, Goram - some real Rangers men present. Congratulations to Contacts for arranging the night and the fantastic raffle/auction prizes. Some lucky punter bought four flights and accommodation to Tenerife for seven hundred squid!
nvager 498
Wish I could have been there. I saw both of them play when I was very young. It was a heart attack watching Hubbard take penalties. The ball trickled into the corner, but their GK was always diving the other way. Dont know how he did it so many times.

Gazzas_Flute 11
Brilliant night! Some great speakers and despite what others thought I thought the first comedian was pretty funny :lo: Some of his jokes were fucking awful but he had a good few one liners! It was just great to spend some time amongst real Rangers men such as Hubbard, Simpson, Bomber, Goram and Nichol! It really puts into perspective what a massive club we are. BlueIsTheColour 35
Thourougly enjoyed the whole experience, including the comedian. Nice to finally meet the elusive Boss, even if it was only a brief handshake. I would have got up and had a proper chat with you mate, but i was penned between the table and the wall. Hearing Johnny and Billy speak at the end was incredibly moving.

I swelled up with pride when Hubbard said " Once a Ranger, always a Ranger " It was fantastic meeting them both and getting the chance to hear them talk about our club, two perfect gentlemen aswell!
