Ryan_1 1,136
Can't really comment on 1st spell, before my time. 2nd spell has to be Carlos Cuellar. Too many poor signings second time round and too much money spent on duds. One reason why we are in debt.
Dextor 0
Past - Laudrup, Albertz, Gazza, Goram Present - Cuellar, Weir, Bougherra, Davis
BouncingBear 23
I am pushed to say Laudrup but I have to go with Gazza the guy was a genius with a ball. 2nd spell has to be Cuellar
Del 667
Edu <cr> They guy has barely played 10-15 games for us!! For me his best signings were Albertz, Big Amo, Laudrup, Gazza the usual lot. Recently Cuellar and Cousin were pretty good signings but Big Davie is the stand out!
bombaybadboy08 15,660
My selection is based on what effect it had on the club,Andy Goram's contribution doesn't need any explanation and Davie Weir helped steady a shitey team. Both signings very cheap. Quality wise my choices would be Laudrup and Cuellar.
Polo 1,469
Probably Laudrup from the first spell and Cuellar in the second.

Im sure in his book he said something about Souness meeting him and telling him hes the new Rangers keeper and they signed him at the end of the season. Smith might technically have been the manager at the time when Goram signed but ive seen and heard him say plenty of times that he owes Souness for bringing him to Rangers.
