MosesMcNeil 1,664
The press in varying degree have been going after us for (literally) centuries. Two observations - obviously we are the sporting news interest of the nation and beyond and they have singularly failed to destroy us

caseyjones 3,009
Isn't it astonishing how little has actually changed over the years ?Correct. There are still individuals and groups who challenge the press. They should be applauded, and given support from the WHOLE of the fanbase.

Ozblue 4,332
Ah! The auld cliché that states; "The more times change, the more they stay the same" certainly has relevance in that letter.Maybe somebody in the corridors of power at Edminston Drive should frame that letter and stick it on the boardroom wall as a reminder of what response should be meted out to recalcitrant newspaper reporters that seemingly take great joy in slandering our great club.Great post and a great letter. delparlane 6,007
Inspiring read there. Mr. Ricketts is a great example for us all: it's way past time for all of us to take a stand against the calumny of the Scottish Press. We shall not be moved.
