1st_Jan_1994 4,868
Might make for a good thread. What players down the years have you seen at Rangers, that you quite liked but never seemed to last or got sold/released.I thought guys like Kygriakos and Rodriguez were good players, but no-one really rated them. Same with Djordic and Bonnisell. What about yous?
thebooler 4,509
I remember being a huge fan of Ian Redford, though all the guys at work, and the guys who went to the games with me never seemed to understand it.
iain1712 336
I thought namouchi was unfairly castigated big eck used him as a midfield man marker in games solely on the pitch to stop the oppositions best player getting a kick (usually in European games) ok he wasn't very good with the ball but he done that defensive job well

Cumbria_blue 51
I always rated Ian Murray, while no-one else really did, or even talked about him. I have no idea why I rated him either, I thought he was a better LB than Papac
caseyjones 3,009
Jeremy Clement. An intelligent midfielder who never had a chance of succeeding.
mrmytto 220
Watterus. The one, the only, Filip SEBO!Big Lee is a legend as well. Burke.I loved Adverladze! (SP?)Moore as well, thought that he was a great player.

Tumshie 205
Jeremy Clement had a real class about him but he just didn't fancy it when Walter came back. Also thought Namouchi got a bit of a raw deal from the support
Papa Sasac 164
I really liked Ian Murray as well, though he did well for us. Again, agree with Clement, now doing well at PSG.I rated Buffel as well, although I didn't know many that did.
GovanFrontGers 1
Buffel, could and should have been a really good player but just did not work out.
1st_Jan_1994 4,868
Charlie Adam is another for me.Liked Moore, Averladze and Vignal aswell. But I can't really remeber anyone else saying they weren't keen on them at the time.Currently, I think big McCulloch has been doing a good job the past year or so and gets little credit. Cumbria_blue 51
I actually rated Stephen Thompson Didn't think he was as muh of a disaster as everyone thought he was, though towards the end of his time with us he was ailing a bit and we were right to sell. Also thought Burke was a really good player. In the 05/06 season he was our best player imo, and Weiss yesterday showed the kind of thing that Burke used to do. Of course he never did it often enough, and Walter didn't seem to like him all that much.
