This is about more than a Title.

Recommended Posts

This is about all that is Good in the world against all that is Evil.

In Walter Smith we have a truly great manager, a great ambassador for our club and a thoroughly decent human being. A man respected throughout the sporting world.

In Lennon they have a gutter rat. A man universally despised by everyone outwith the club he manages. A man of low self esteem, a ned, a tramp and a bigot.

Almost single handedly he has set football back in this country by some twenty years and the relationship between them and us to an all time low.

I want Walter to do it tomorrow so badly it hurts. I want him to go out as a Champion, as a Winner - no one deserves it more.

And I want Lennon to feel the pain, the pain of defeat, the pain of a loser - no one deserves it more.

Do it Rangers!

JUST DO IT!!! :uk::uk::uk:

i dont care what the players have to do tomorrow

so long as they go out and complete the job at hand, dont give a minutes thought to after the game, just focus on the job at hand

a win tomorrow for us will drive them to depths that they havent seen since the mid 90's, and with the finances sorted out we could very well bury them as they try and recover from the implosion that will no doubt happen as they try to rebalance the books with a squad not good enough to win the SPL against a bare bones rangers squad

make no mistake, that lot are massively fucked if we win this tomorrow

in the words of nike

JUST DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely, go for it from the off. Get this game won preferably early doors, that would be the icing on the cake.

I've wanted titles before - but never have I wanted a title this badly.

Yes, I want to "stick it" to the bheggars and their pathetic excuse for a manager but more importantly, I want this title for our Manager Walter Smith.

I want Walter's last day in charge of our great Club to be one that he remembers with pride for the rest of his life.

C'mon The Rangers!

Correct, it's about common decency and dignity in the face of adversity.

That sentence sums up The Rangers nicely for me.

On a glorious February morning, in nineteen forty eight

A child was welcomed to the world, a future Rangers great

Born in Lanark and bred in Carmyle

Employed with the 'leccy board for a while

As a spark this boy would ply his trade

Until the arabs could see that he would make the grade

And in nineteen sixty six he would go

To Tannadice, to begin, The Walter Smith Show

Nine years passed and Dumbarton made the call

And Walter gladly followed to help them kick their ball

After two years spent at Boghead Park

On a trip back to Tayside Sir Walt would embark

An injury to the pelvis would halt him in his prime

So he joined Utd's coaching staff to aid them in their climb

Scotland's eighteens came calling, in nineteen seventy eight

And Walter's guidance helped, to seal their Euro fate

The twenty ones would follow then with Fergie he would go

To the ninety eighty six World Cup, in sunny Mexico

Back in Govan Glasgow, Graeme Souness was defiant

He'd take the Gers back to the top and wake the sleeping giant

Souness burst through the gates with a swagger and a plan

But he needed Walt beside him as his trusted right hand man

Three glorious years would follow, Souness and Smith were quite the team

But unbeknown to others Souness harboured a different dream

Off to the Pool he went, with Walter stepping up

He won the league by two points and proudly held that cup

The years ahead would bring great joy, to Ibrox we would go

To see the mighty Walter lead us to 9 in a Row

Mr Smith then decided it would be his last year

One more title to win in his Rangers career

The tenth title it seemed, just wasn't to be

Rangers legend regardless, we all would agree

Over the next few years or so

To Everton and Scotland Smith would go

As the years went on Sir Walter knew

He had unfinished business, he had something to do

The Rangers for some time had been on their knees

So he marched back to Ibrox and took back the keys

No money, no titles for nearly three years

Three men were now here to wipe away tears

Athens, Lisbon, Florence and Manchester they would go

And as I sit here now we approach 3 in a Row

So raise a glass to Walter as he heads towards that door

Remember all he's done for us and cheer him on to FIFTY FOUR

How low will this club sink? I would genuinely like to know.

It's cunts like this that make you feel so lucky to be one of the chosen few to support The Rangers, and make me want nothing more than a win tomorrow.

Just ONE more win, all we need. Never wanted us to win the league this much!
