Martin Luther 53
http://leggoland2.blogspot.comSunday, 10 July 2011FTP-RIP MUST BE THE CRYRANGERS supporters must give Craig Whyte the tools, in order that the new Rangers owner can finish the job he has started.Whyte has launched a real, prolonged and serious fightback against those who have had a free ride in recent years. That is, the enemies of the Ibrox club who have used a combination of black propaganda and friends in high media places, to slur and sully Rangers. But, and even taking into account the old regime’s supine behaviour in the face of these attacks, those enemies would never have had the chance to damage Rangers had some of the club’s fans not handed them the ammunition. And it is that supply of ammunition which must be cut off if the Whyte campaign is to be successful. In the wake of the problems stoked up for Rangers after Villarreal, I coined the slogan of FTP-RIP.Now, after those enemies of Rangers scored again, following the visit to Eindhoven last season, I merely remind the support of the slogan. And remind them that the signing of banned songs, such as the Billy Boys, will not only merely serve to get Rangers into even hotter and deeper water.Such conduct would also deprive chairman Whyte of the ammo he needs to fire volleys at those who seek to damage the club he supported as a wee boy, and finally bought a couple of months ago. Therefore, it is time for all good Rangers fans to rally to their club’s cause and to get behind Whyte and his campaign to attack those who have attacked Rangers. If they do not give and opening to those ranks of hate filled bigots who despise the Ibrox club, then Whyte’s hand will be strengthened. And Ibrox supporters can confidently await this owner, unlike the previous one, claiming a few scalps. For years Rangers fans have pleaded with those in charge to defend the honour of the club. In the past their pleas have fallen on deaf ears. But now the situation is changed and now there is a man in charge who will do just that. But he cannot do it without the help of those supporters. And nowhere is the behaviour of those who follow Rangers more important, than in Europe.Nowhere is it likely to be under greater scrutiny, than when they follow the team in Europe. Therefore, they should beware of any agent provocateurs in their midst. My advice to them would be that if they hear anyone trying to start up a chorus of the Billy Boys, then shout them down.Just because someone is in the travelling support, and has a Scottish accent on a Euro trip, does not mean they are a Rangers supporter.Be wary! Be suspicious! Take pictures and make sure they find their way to Rangers. But most of all, the message to Rangers real fans is…be on your best behaviour. Those are the sort of tools that will enable Craig Whyte to finish the job he has started in such impressive style. 4MenHadADream 122
Don't think so. Don't normally read his stuff, but as far as I can see it all he's saying is if Rangers fans want the complete backing of Craig Whyte then they need to do their part to improve the club's and fans reputation

Getstiffed 8,863
The point of his last few lines about being vigilante and "taking pictures of fans causing trouble" is to insinuate an element of provocateuring. At the behest of you know who.

harry handsome 629
Its a fair enough argument, the songs attacking the head of the catholic church need to go as this is sectarian however the Billy Boys should come back as this is political, as the can of worms slowly opens. Adoniram 1,919
Simply put he is telling us to box clever, which will in turn put the heat back onto our bhigoted enemiesSomething we as a fanbase sadly are not very good at.We are banned whether we like it or not. We are banned whether it is correct or not.If fans get in to the stadium and Rangers get punished then they in turn deserve to be banned from Ibrox.Sorry if that sounds harsh but the Kangaroo Court that is UEFA have us by the short and curlies here.We were stitched up like a kipper and our only recourse is to get smart then get even. Martin Luther 53
If you dont know your past you are doomed to repeat your mistakes. The waters of Scottish association Football were muddied for ever when a Brother monk who was on the make used a football team to divide sectarianly people and to help keep the increasingly powerless paranoid RC church shadowy grip on "its People" and keep thm brainwashed. No one can deny this and no one should forget it or fail to remind people of this.FTP I believe totally in the message behind it you are always leaving yourself open for a breach of the peace with the swearing bit.Try and articulate your rightful condemnation of the corrupt church in a more articulate manner. It saddens me on a day like today that is so important to the glorious revolution that cemented the protestant reformation when it was being attacked left right and centre and was about to fall into the shadowy hand of papish despotism. That people for on here forget all the liberties we hold so dear from this part of history. Thanks to periods of enlightenment like the protestant reformation and the glorious reformation you have the freedom of speech and press to show up all the disgusting injustices of the corrupt church. And if we like many on here that have a collective amnesia then we will slip slowly back into the grips of despotism.
