MuirhouseBear 291
Just went on the website there and it looks as though the top tier of every stand is closed? Can only expect a poor attendance and the stadium will probably look better if everyone's squashed together instead of being all spread out. Bit disappointed though as I'm not able to purchase my ST seat.
WhosTheDado 32
i noticed this too and think by doing this it will hopefully make it more intimadating for the swedes by having us closer to the pitch.
Deanow 72
Great idea imo! No one sees the rears anyway so if we look like its packed down the bottom people viewing automatically assume the whole stadiums full.
Johnny Dangerously 7,563
I'd have thought we would get something between 35-40 thousand for this game.
debear 603
I would doubt it, unless they plan to let everyone who has a ST in the top tier of each stand know that they have been moved and provide them with a duplicate ticket for their seat for this game by Tuesday. Gaz52 11,837
They won't shut the rears, wouldn't that be madness?
Jordo 33
By the looks of it they have, looks like a 20-25k attendance if that's the case Unless all the top tiers have sold out already
bluespirit 14
Daft post. I paid £600 for my Govan Rear season ticket... So I can sit in Govan Rear! How do you expect to move and relocate thousands who signed up to to all the euro games etc etc?
j1mgg 3,766
I can't see this happening either. I think there will be alot of angry people if they do get moved.
simplythebest 11,453
Did they not close the top tier of the Broomloan for the Kilmarnock game in the Scottish Cup?So something similar has happened before.

SteveJ 743
Good idea, if it sets a better atmosphere but it just shows how stupid this July football is. If competitive football is to be played in July, it should be summer football - you cannot expect fans to follow their team all autumn and winter but also stay at home in July too. docspiderman 1,260
Suggests that, knowing with holidays, prices etc that thee will be poor demand for tickets, only the lower tiers will be available for non season ticket holders to buy.I expect that I will be able to lie along the 3 seats to my right in the club deck and watch the game. 4MenHadADream 122
Will this game be on RangersTV, and if so, will it only be available to those overseas?
simplythebest 11,453
They shut the whole Broomloan. That night was horrific in terms of attendance. But as I've said before, my Smartcard has been activated for this game: so they won't just move me and anyone else in the rears.Just checked what it was, 13,215. Was a Monday night and on national TV, so I suppose it was bound to be a bit of a disaster in terms of attendance.
