OneDavidCooper 2,505
James McFadden is an absolutely fucking awful footballer. Slow as a hedgehog, albeit a bigger prick, scoring ratio of 1 goal every 2 million games, shite final ball, self absorbed, injury prone and bellycose.Let Septic have him, he isn't good enough for Rangers. simplythebest 11,453
He was a key player for Birmingham in 09/10, and they missed him when they got relegated. Not sure about his overall fitness, but if we aren't talking extortionate wages I think he'd be worth a go on a free, our options up front are limited. WWTC 2,249
Naw naw fuckin naw. Rarely beats a man, and when he does he has to bring the ball back and try to beat him again, because hes slower than a reply from GS whenever you question his statements on rangers accounts. Never fit, even when fit hes unfit ffs, shite infront of goal, pish poor passin, disapears in the vast majority of games he actually plays in. And worst of all, hes a self proclaimed, happy to talk about it, timmy bastard.James Mcfadden can fuck right off. Not welcome.
gersfan 5
Ripped the SPL to shreds when he played here for Motherwell, putting in MUCH better and more good performances than Lafferty has so far.Struggled down south largely down to injuries and being shifted about in different positions when he was at Everton, is he the same player he once was? Not sure.So how much do you reckon he's worth? £1m? £500k? £150k?What? We could get him for free??! Wheres the risk? As long as he wasn't after huge wages, which his current situation is not a given. If he was fit he would be ARGUABLY our best striker afer Jelavic. But even if not and Lafferty is considered better, he'd certainly be coming in at least 3rd choice. What happens if Jelavic get injured for a period? We're screwed. We can't buy anyone now until January (will we even spend money then?), whereas we could maybe get McFadden for free now. I really don't see what there is to lose. If nothing else when things are going against us and you lok at our bench what do you usually see....nothing that fills you with a great deal of hope. McFadden has the ability to change a game and could be a great weapon to have, IF he proves his fitness of course.Since he went down south he has certainly been inconsistent, but there is a hell of a lot more to his game than wondergoals that's for sure. stuartm 7
I have seen a lot of shite posted on this site, you win though. Absolute garbage.Well you need to get yourself to some games if you think Lafferty is a good player, never mind good enough for Rangers
Waste 8
If he was still in the spl he'd be standing out for some pish team and everyone would want to sign him

McFadden is finished, living off some quality he had years ago. He has failed badly down in england. Add in the injuries and it's a strong no for me.
