Ribz2009 12
But perhaps they also make spatial structures in the brain grow that are required to be good with a football ... you surely don't think they have a massive effect on the body but no effect at all on the brain? Messi was already a phenomenal talent before he got diagnosed and treated at 13/

RichardFoster 41
I'd like to see Lionel Messi up against me, he'd be getting no loose change. After he's been served by me he'll quit football altogether and go into hiding, emerging five years later fat as fuck and a crack addict. Ryan_1 1,136
I don't see how a course of growth hormones could have done anything to his pure footballing ability, the only thing really that it could have improved is his strength. Yes it is a big part of his game, but I don't think it would have made too much difference tbh.Lionel Messi is best footballer of his generation and probably one day become the greatest footballer of all-time, he's that good! I'm just trying to enjoy it while it lasts as it won't last forever.
Thermopylae 15,287
You kinda answer the question yourself if he is the best footballer ever and he was the only already very talented kid to have had the growth hormones do you not think there is at least a possibility that the 2 things may be connected? Gillete 1,338
Messi was the best player ever at 8 years old, true story. You obviously haven't saw that little Japanese fella kicking about on YouTube then
