Anyone know why his contract was cancelled?

This is the translation, make of that what you will,

he Causa "Luigi Bruins' Ricardo Moniz brought in explaining to do. "I wanted to give him a chance," said Salzburg's coach, after he was asked on Sunday why he has terminated his compatriot, whose contract in mid-October had ever brought.

Sporty was the 24-year-old does not use his chance: Only 181 minutes was the Dutchman in use. Financially, the two months have paid off for him in Salzburg, however. With around 300,000 euros in his luggage he is said to have begun the journey home. Bruins at Feyenoord in the summer, his contract was not renewed because he was not financially with his former club to unify.

Bruins was the biggest but not the only flop of the first transfer time of the era Moniz. Petri Pasanen and Rasmus Lindgren also failed to meet expectations. Both had been announced by her coach as "outstanding reinforcements."

Resignation

Moniz coach remains.

That due to the transfer flops Heinz Hochhauser - since Thursday officially too - no longer is sports director in Salzburg, is a strapless rumor.

Had these been decisive, Moniz would have had to go. All three players have not Hochhauser, but the coach got.

Reasons for the resignation of the chief sports are meant to be differences of opinion between him and Moniz and possible overlapping responsibilities with the new managing director Peter Vogl. Actually, in February of 65-year-old would want to stay until the summer at Red Bull.

High Hauser items should be not replaced, but the model "RB Leipzig" copies. There are only coach Peter Pacult and CEO Wolfgang Loos. Moniz so that more authority will get right, but not. Because of Salzburg coach was already fixed anyway involved in the transfer discussions. In Pasanen and Leonardo he was able to negotiate even with its own management, because this also represents the two players.

By House

New staff at Salzburg is nothing new. Managing Director, sports leaders and coaches come and go. The club does, however, despite more than 30 million euros annual salary costs for six seasons on the spot for a sporty guideline to keep those responsible must still missing.

In May Moniz and Hochhauser were begun with the announcement that will now get more players from the academy a chance. Not been implemented. Martin Hinteregger is a regular player, but he was already under Moniz's predecessor Huub Stevens. Otherwise, only George Teigl came to more than very short inserts.

The squad was inflated to 29 men - officially because of injuries. Six players were fitte but in seven or fewer of the 33 games in the fall for use. So a normal 23-man squad containing 15 to 17 experienced professionals (legionaries and Austrian team players) would have sufficed.

Injury problems!! In and out of the first team because of this in his last season with Feyenoord !! Contract cancelled by his last club becuase of financial reasons !! Hasnt played in a while as a result !!

Sound familiar?

Boyd?

No?

So here's a player who is a total unknown to us and yet there is no one mentioning any of these as negatives or reasons NOT to sign, yet if you look in thw Boyd threads these reasons are being mentioned time and time again.

Not that I am saying we shouldnt have a look at the lad, I am just a little confused by some of the double standards, some people still holding a grudge with Kris.

This guy might bring a little more to the team than Boyd really. Apart from goals you get nothing, this guy (if he impresses on trial) could bring a set piece, good delivery, pace etc, all of which Boyd does not bring.
