wronglypenalised 14
£5m upfront rising to £8mJust hope the "rising to" doesn't equal trophy success or we're screwed!Good luck to the guy but other than him banging in 20+ goals a season I can't see him being anything more than another journeyman player in the EPL. I can't see a Chelsea or any of the Manchester clubs taking a chance on him (I may be wrong outwith my goals tally clause) which will mean season after season of playing in a struggling team. murray1012 9
We had to take the bigger up front fee or the taxman would have taken add ons if we dont win tax case. But if we dont buy anyone we dont really need it!!

BroomloanBear 63
Handshake2036: DONE DEAL We've had to wait an eternity for this one to go through but I can finally confirm that 26-year-old Croatia striker Nikica Jelavic has completed his £5.5m move from Rangers to Everton, and signed a four-and-a-half year contract. The first of a flurry of late deals? I hope so...BBC sport
