Rangers Megastore Is A Joke

Recommended Posts

Went in after the game to spend some cash and buy a few tops and shorts.

Only got one home pair of home shorts.

Nothing in large men's apart from home top which I've got already.

Seen lots of others looking baffled by the lack of stock.

How much have Rangers lost out on today because of this?

I bet there is a warehouse rammed full of gear too.

Absolute joke.

i'd imagine the cash was a bit of financial relief and wouldnt make any sense to reinvest in new stock at the moment.

Financial relief?

Rangers get no direct cash from Merchandising at Ibrox... It ALL goes to JJB.

They pay us a sum a year to run the shops and they take all the money from Merchandise sales.

The manager of JJB stores. I heard he was a taig so that explains it.

This is what happens wen Rangers employ tarriers.

I was in before the killie game and there was L, XL, XXL and I think I saw XXXL(not sure on the last one) home tops with and without sleeves, however because of the queues/occasion at the killie game coupled by the fact I wanted to be inside Ibrox to show the lads my support, I chose to go back after the game, but, to my surprise, when I went back after the game they only had a few large home tops left. So perhaps at the next home game if you go in prior to the match maybe, just maybe you will get lucky

(tu) This, or Rangers get little money at most, a small percentage

Pity we couldn't have a clear out of them all since we are in Administration :pipe:

it's near the end of the season, and they're trying to sell all the stock.

Last week they had plenty of larger sizes in the home, away, and third strip.

This happens every year (just not to this degree) when we're trying to punt the soon to be outdated strips. Everyone has the same idea about picking up extra tops and kit, which at this time of year they are not going to get more in because there are no more sitting in a warehouse. It's the end of the product line.

thought this was about poor stock, as I bought the 3in a row DVD about a month ago, double the price of HMV....(15.99) but anyway,

Got home to find it had a bloody crack right down the centre.

Took it straight back and just got an apology, despite the cheeky bitch offering me a receipt to buy a top at 40% off ...

Pretty poor standard of staff in there. Not interested in people at all.

The last time i went I had planned to break the bank and buy a rangers car freshner for all of £2-00 at most .

Didnt have any ?? Unbelivable what an easy sale that most fans might add on to their purchases .

I have said before the old silk scarves froom the seventies with the gold rangers emblem

for old bastards like me would buy it through nostalgia would have been popular .

Also in the shop the following hung up and a shirt of the time they played :

A Davie Cooper shirt name on -number 7 ready made - to purchase

A Colin Stein name on -shirt number 9 ready made " "

A Brian Laudrup name on - number 11 ready made " "

A Paul Gasgoigne name on - number 8 ready made " "

For me the marketing deparment have been lazy in their ideas over the years and played it safe .

Has anyone any other ideas in their opinion from anyone what they think will be a seller .

Not sure if any of this helps the club. Is the deal not set that the club get and agreed set amount per annum form jjb.
