By failing to do so he is not doing himself or indeed other refs any favours whatsoever, needs to stop being so arrogant and appoligise. Other question was what was the linesman doing, surely he saw it, they need to help refs out more should have stood there with his flag out till brines came over and told him your wrong ref and not just trot off to avoid getting involved just because it is easier.
