allanh91 75 Posted May 16, 2012 Share Posted May 16, 2012 My cousin is a Thistle fan, and me, him and a couple of friends, (1 bear and 1 unwashed) joined up to this tournament at Firhill they do every year.They charge £25 and make it a family fun day.With our support, and the opportunity of playing 11's at Ibrox at stake, I reckon it would be a huge success. Thistle made £6000 + last year. It's like a family fun day as well, and people get charged like £1`to go and watch.That would be a HUGE success at Ibrox I think. Me and some mates managed to organise a special event at Scotstoun, you're allowed to take electrical equipment like P.A. systems and the like.Murray Park could be an option as well. Each team plays 3 games in the group. Top 2 go through. Semi Finals, and then a half hour final (15 minutes each way)All Rangers strips - Blues, Whites, Reds/ Orange, Black/ Navy. 1 colour per team in each group. And Bibs if two similar colours meet in the semis/ final.Charge £20/£30 per person. Does Murray Park have viewing seats? Family and friends would enjoy watching if so.
