legalbeagle 3,734
If we put our desperate enemies to one side, and try to assume there may be some fair-minded people out there who have just been carried along with the crowd, the view seems to be:1) 10 points didn't make any difference to us2) European ban doesn't seem to have an impact immediately (although actually it is huge)3) An SFA fine doesn't make any difference to anyone4) The players taking short term pay cuts meant that no players or staff even left (couple of minor exceptions)5) The one heavy punishment was challenged and defeated in court.Although it is nothing to do with a punishment from an association, there is a huge desire to see the club suffer for its financial troubles, is it possible that the exodus of players might actually call the dogs off?The one thing they didn't want was for us to go through this, but then be back in the SPL next season and winning it.This player exodus will be a warning to other clubs not to newco, along with the other, more minor punishments, so will this be enough to stop the blood lust? A bit elaborate but not beyond the realms of possibility. The hatred will never go away but maybe just maybe were pulling the wool over there eyes as they will see the anger from our fans over the next few days towards players who we thought were true Rangers men. This might turn the vote, probably not though, but to my mind no vote has been cast yet.

Gers77 5
To be honest, even getting demoted to the 3rd division, we will have gotten off with it. I'm unsure (maybe someone is in the know) how the assets we have ie Murray Park/Ibrox were valued and bought for £5m or so. Seems very low to me. I'm not sure if the HMRC would have had it within their powers to have that valuation reassessed by a neutral party and have them actually sold off for that amount, leaving us with nowt.To me, Murray is the man to blame, he knew what Whyte was all about, he knew what it is a Venture Capitalist does, he knew what was going to happen. Whyte knew what was going to happen, but for whatever reason he tried to hide this from the fans. Obviously because of the reaction of the fans, but what choice did he have really? Teamgers 1,214
We are not "banned" from Europe - we cant particpate because we are a new club.Another one who's got it WRONG, we are NOT a new club, its the same club ran by a different company, a newco! This is what i've been saying all along, there must be thousands of Gers fans out there assuming that we are a new club, this is why we must get the history aspect relayed to everyone, and for the SFA ( no matter how much you hate them) to verify the fact that we are still the same club.
