Saddam Ghandi 17
Thats why he doesn't deserve a decent reply mate, you hit the nail on the head. He is struggling to hold it in and is slipping. The alternative to not buying in to Jabba is buying in to Jabba and all that entails. For this matter I'll rest on that note, you'll be delighted to hear.

boss 1,941
But you will happily buy in to the ultimate apologist's article? Has anyone found that article with Traynor criticising Murray yet?...You'd think some were due after what we have been through.Traynor's fighting back for Murray - not you or I and certainly not Rangers. But don't dare doubt Jabba! - not what real 'Gers do eh? The difference between you and Traynor is that we know what Traynor is.

Bear78 96
As I've always said, tax avoidance is legal. Most people earning a good wage, will be using tax avoidance schemes to some extent, and most companies employing people earning a significant wage will be looking to utilise these schemes.Rangers used EBT's, we may of implemented these 100% correctly, we may not of, the findings are not revealed yet. If we didn't use EBT's, we'd of been using some other tax scheme offering similar tax savings, which may not of been technically illegal. Saying we got an advantage is absolute folly, let alone a significant advantage! Bear in mind the tax bill was £19m against PAYE over a 10yr period. That is a saving against what we would of paid PAYE, not what we would of saved if we used another tax avoidance scheme (which we almost certainly would of done). Who knows what we saved using EBT's, compared to a more conventional tax avoidance scheme, it would be nowhere near £19m! If paying players using tax avoidance schemes is illegal, then I would bet nearly every team in the SPL is guilty to some degree. However, it's quite incorrect for fans to be declaring holier than thou, when we're guilty of implementing a legal scheme slightly wrongly, when their clubs have also been using similar schemes. To want us stripped of titles dating back 12yrs over a technicality, which was overlooked by our governing bodies, is vindictive, petty, and downright wrong. If there was a problem, it should of been flagged over a decade ago when the info was there infront of the governing body.HMRC designs these schemes with certain types of people in mind. It's a way to keep rich folk from leaving. They just don't like it when rich people who have to work and live here use them. HMRC should not be a service for the rich. That is the real crime here

The media has been silent for too long I will guarantee that a few clubs have something to hide, let's get the squirming, hopefully traynor will be the first but not the last. Too many jurnos attacking green for the way he goes about his business and trying to decry all he says, it's a classic taig trick, move the argument from the point and aim it at the credibility of the manMake no mistake green has a lot to prove but he has them twitching and hopefully it's for good reason. As the saying goes, fight fire with fire - the new rules, (dual contracts), must be pressed throughout the spl - and the attention spread accordingly. That maybe not the ourish way, but we're Scots. Dutchy 1,200
I've read about 4 pages of this thread because I thought it important news with ideas and concepts which have gotten us into so much trouble, but I gave up after that as it seems do be turning into a 'whose to balme' sort of thread.I don't give a shit about that, I am happy that someone(no matter who their master is) is bringing all these topics out into the public forum of the printed press. Hopefully, influencing the opposite negative press we've had which helped us into this position in the first place.I await what trayor is saying these days, no matter what he's said in the past. In short, I'm concerned with the future and present. As we all say, we're at where we're at. Lets learn to move forwards, with any help that is available. This article does that by pointing out the 'special' treatment afforded to our club.
