Ricky_ 893
Anyone see this on Soocer saturday? They had a right piss take of Hearts vs Motherwell.Jeff Stelling...."And theres the report on Motherwell vs Hearts........ that's it".Jeff and the boys then joked the reporter at the game gets paid per appearance - and they didn't go to him once, because nothing happened to report on, therefore, Sky save money. Here's hoping they go one step further on the money saving stakes and pull the SPL plug all together. The official laughing stock of Sky Sports. Dutchy 1,200
Look, I listened to the radio Ireland for a bit last night and they all said it was an 'exciting' league.Surely Rangers hating 'experts' can't be wrong!Regardless of the things they have been wrong about so far. lol

They are the customers. They pay what they see value in paying. The SFA & SPL are in charge of the product. It has always been their duty to get the best deals & ensure the best product. They need to chose the best structure, the best branding, the best marketing strategies. In 2002 they tried to oversell the SPL so Sky said no - why would they pay the SPL the same money as they payout for the EPL when it holds nowhere NEAR the same comercial value for them?As a result the SPL went with the BBC for a year in a pittance of a deal which led to Motherwell & Livingston going into admin. You can't blame your biggest customer for not giving you more money if your business goes tits up. Are you suggesting the man selling turds should expect the same as the other?
