Not saying it hasn't happened but would hazard a guess that it is a handful of examples which makes it significantly less than 1% of fans who have come across it. Need to keep this in proportion, reckon the vast majority of cops do a good job just as the vast majority of fans are fine, a small minority in both camps getting their sums wrong. devref 201 Posted February 20, 2013 Share Posted February 20, 2013 way back in the 70s used to get the odd pat down at ibrox but it was never a problem for me they were looking for the carry out that i had but for some reason i was never asked to bin it like a few others were.at games in the last few years i have been to no real problems with them personally but have seen one or two bears getting treated a bit harsh slung into the back of vans and heavy handed lifting but i was there at the end so dont know what went on for this to happen so its possible that the bears or the police were being dicks.
