Board meeting was set a week ago......rst and moles :7325: you could do a stand up routine on the shambles that is the failure of the rst :7325:

The bbc for god sake......cover up a child abuser, do not go into detail about a disgraced cardinal getting his boaby sucked, never one=ce running a story about tam/tommy liewell and the disappearing Japanese tour ....one would think the the bbc in Glasgow was riddled with immigrant supporters.

Yet people on here hang to their every word.....daly the investigative journalist anyone, now this prize willing undercover immigrannt, surely this man of the no-one on the other end of the telephone would have discovered green/whyte .

Really need to get a grip here guys this what have rst and bbc got in common , both trustless trusts :7325:

Takes a good old bit of Glaswegian banter to sum things up :7325:

Rangers have enough court time coming without adding to it

As for Whyte, he's lost his case and needs grounds for a time wasting appeal.

What better than having to wait for the results of his Rangers claims

They will come to nothing but will buy him time.

Before he ends up doing time

Gers fans asking the board to act instead of talk

Did Rangers CEO Charles Green really have links to Craig Whyte?

Early on Thursday, the 'Rangers Supporters Trust' (RST) released a very clever statement on the two main issues surrounding the Rangers Chief Executive, Charles Green. The most important part of it said:

"The board of the Rangers Supporters' Trust today calls for the future of Chief Executive Charles Green to be decided by the Board of the club and for Charles Green and Imran Ahmad to pursue legal action against Craig Whyte.

Our club needs clarity over two major issues -- the future of Charles Green and the ongoing claims of Craig Whyte. The proper places for these two to be handled are, respectively, the Ibrox boardroom and a court of law."

- Strachan predicts Old Firm breakaway

The intelligent thing about this press release is that it calls for action instead of bickering and excuses. Empty rhetoric has taken centre-stage for too long. The RST doesn't take sides, but calls the bluff on anyone making big claims.

If the Rangers board back Green, then great, they should back him completely and not leak stories to the media. If they think he should leave, then say so, and start the process for a new CEO. What is happening at the moment is the worst of all worlds because it weakens everyone, including the club.

The added request for Green and Ahmad to "instigate legal proceedings against Craig Whyte without delay", is also very smart. The fans have repeatedly heard Green and Ahmad telling them they have no links to Whyte, while he says otherwise. So why not take it to a court of law?

It would help stop Whyte's more outlandish claims if they sue, and if they don't, then one must ask why? What do they fear will come out into the public domain?

There is little doubt that, at best, some on the Rangers board are upset with the performance of Green, and the 'revelations' from Whyte. At worst, there is a split that will see resignations.

Maybe, the end result will be somewhere in between, but the recent stories by Keith Jackson of the 'Daily Record' and Andy Devlin of 'The Sun' that board members are unhappy is not fiction. How much of it is true, and how much exaggeration, only time will tell. But the support need to ask questions and not hide behind the comfort of media conspiracies.

My own opinion of the situation is clear. Green has made one too many strange claims or broken promises, and his use of racist language is completely unacceptable. The latter alone is unworthy of being the Chief Executive of Rangers Football Club.

Other than that, he has become too much of a risk to have on the board. If any links to Whyte are ever proven, then the damage to Rangers could be as bad as the summer of 2012. Few should doubt how much the Scottish Football Association (SFA) would relish the chance to give the club another dose of 'sporting integrity'.

The Rangers support need to be objective and stop confusing the Rangers employee with the club. If the fans are truthful, then many would admit to defending Sir David Murray and Whyte when they were in charge, because it was the 'loyal' thing to do. It certainly was, but while those in the board were protected, the club suffered. Incredibly, some well-meaning supporters have again fallen into the same trap.

After the disaster of last season, Rangers FC need boring, reliable, professionals to lead the club and not flamboyant charismatics promising heaven on earth. The latter may give you great quotes and tell you what you want to hear, but in the end it's always about them and what they want.

Time to stick to reality and put Rangers first.

The Rangers Supporters Trust is your Supporters Trust. The greater the membership we have, then the greater our voice.

Lets look at these claims.

You members hold nothing unless their names are on the register of shareholders, if it is in the name of RST then who ever controls RST controls the shareholder vote and takes any dividend that accrues.

I can offer better give me your money and I will speak for you and give you the dividend when it is paid.

Next point, RST is not my supporters trust. They speak for themselves and appear to ban those who do not agree with them. Also the RST is a money making entity, making it's money from Rangers supporters, but who is getting paid from this money or claiming expenses? The RST talk about openness and transparently, so, be clear, who withdraws money out of the RST?
