The Bank Of Scotland threatened to call in the receivers in 1994 when Celtic could not service their Debt. It is well documented that Fergus McCann stepped in and sorted out the financial problems. It seems pre 1994 that Celtic were spending more than their income to run the club. Anybody out there tell me if the media at the time accused them of financial doping? Possibly has been something posted about this before but I am new to this site and don't know if that is the case.

Celtic did NOT cheat. They never have. They have always won fairly and no one should ever question that. They have never covered up any scandals, moved debts to other companies, never moaned , never played the victim card (yawn), never singled out officials, never had a friend in the journalist community ....... Never ever question their well meaning and integrity.

no they didn't, the brian Dempsey friendly mhedia were on the side of helping to make ra sellik stronger and backed the man to the hilt. Dempsey invented the Craig Whyte business model and never put a penny of his money near sellik, he is now bankrupt. The mhedia aim was to focus on the owners of Sellik and blacken their name and make ra Sellik out to be a cuddly toy

And used others money to 'look after the mhedia' whilst making sure everyone got the impression he was funding it, if only the shareholders of the others cottoned on!

He refused with two other ra sellic bhoys to write a cheque out for 250k at a meeting in the boardroom of a leading accountancy firm in Glasgow.

Many also allege that a certain journalist was helped out of his financial problems also.
