lutonblue 1,974
If, whilst being labelled cheats, it was actually us who were being cheated, then that genuine case of cheating is most certainly relevant to the Bears Den.I can't understand the "head in the sand" response from some. We do need to be more aware and, where relevant such as in this case, pro-active.Great credit is owed to those who are taking the time and making the effort to expose this grand scale corruption. The underselling of publicly owned land is directly comparable to and morally worse in degree than EBTs, which they actually used themselves. Can't believe the public hypocrisy that the media allowed to pass as they openly implied that they represented an "unfair sporting advantage". If they were unfair and therefore, why did they use them? Was 1 EBT OK, whilst several were morally outrageous? A glaring logical contradiction never picked up by the media. Can we expect to see editorial calling for the release of all one time murderers, as it's only serial murderers who we should concern ourselves with? The generously low rates from the Co-operative Bank also represents a dereliction of duty towards shareholders, members and the interests of the organisation itself. This really does affect us. If you disagree, please think again. We were called cheats whilst being cheated. So I say a big thank you to those who are making the effort and keeping us informed. Some of us may miss this information if it was in General Sports, since they only come here for the BD and the news and this is indeed relevant to them. This

lutonblue 1,974
Many of us have been working with other Bears and Politicians to have this matter brought before UEFA and Parliament. I'm assured a politician will be asking questions in the UK Parliament very soon keep up the good work

Adoniram 1,919
Now imagine we live in Utopia..Is this not the kind of stuff the RST for example should be highlighting. Their members (fans) were slated and probably out of pocket thanks to the vindictive witch hunt against our club. And in defending the fans and club should they not be highlighting the double standards of the media and politicians in this country at the treatment we get yet others don't.Just a thought. Guardian 4,281
I don't think any Bear want's swept under the carpet but it's pissing against the wind, until the mainsteam media run the story it has no legs. They won't do that just incase they get banned from the shitehole and they don't have anything to write about in their shitty rhagsThe tims don't have that attitude. They would make it impossible for the media to ignore even if it took years.Getting us done for EBTs etc must have seemed a longshot at the start but it snowballed. Just takes determination. bawsburst 1,381
It will be a story if anything were ever to come of any inquiry or commission, Presbyterians abdicating power to opus dei in George Square makes that outcome recede by the day.Teflon tims r them. bawsburst 1,381
There's no chance of the truth ever being told in Scottish establishment circles. However, that's not to say those down south have the same Opus Dei mentality as we notherners do In fact, I know for certain, MP's have sat down with Bears, went through the details and are convinced there has been corruption taking place at GCC, Labour and Yahoo FC. National newspapers are investigating as well and have said this may take a long time to investigate as it's so widespread and involving politicians. Anyone who doesn't think two Labour government ministers and one who has admitted to being a sex pest were not helping the Yahoos is living in a fantasy world. On one deal involving the sale of land to the Yahoos, the councillors involved were asked if they had a conflict of interest, none came forward. 12 councillors, 8 Labour, 3 SNP and 1 Conservative. All 8 Labour were season book holders and shareholders at a certain club. Can you guess which one?I admire your faith in the cesspit known as politics, I recall tony the latent liebour PM jumping the dyke as soon as he exited westmidden, it would be very naive to underestimate the taigs mostly all opus dei connected who are in high office in national government.
