fraz1ross 445
Being born in 1989, Walter Smith is IMO the biggest Rangers legend. If we had won the uefa cup in 08' or 10IAR the answer would have been unanimous.

ianferguson 2,619
When I was a boy in the 60s and 70s you heard the name Rangers and immediately thought of John Greig so easy pick for me and also a one club man.

fraz1ross 445
I'm 1992 and my vote would go to Sandy Jardine. What do you base your view of him being the biggest legend on?His playing career and/or his total service to the club? Just interested as guys our age didnt see him in his heyday.

The best we can ever hope for is a top player on the way down or a young guy with loads of talent who may stay a few years before moving to a top league like Mcloud ,but the Coopers, Gazzas and laudrups are a thing of the past imo. Just interested as guys our age didnt see him in his heyday. The fact Jardine played a pivotal role in one of our greatest ever achievements winning the Cup Winners Cup, along with his longstanding career at Rangers from 65' to 82 is just huge. Then comes his part in standing up for us in our time of need, until the day I die I will never forget Sandy marching with us to Hampden. The fact he spent his last precious years fighting for the team he loved will always stay with me.
Jack The Flipper 5,936
ally mccoist money grabbing legend Bill Struth for me, he defined rangers with his actions as well as his words, 34 years of his life he gave us - amazing, there's a reason his portrait takes pride of place watching over the trophies

danger ranger 922
Willie Waddell for me, came and stopped 10 in a row for the scum, and took us to European cup glory in 1972 and also numerous trebles and domestic honours and set us up for the next 20 years and some. Eck the bear 106
In my time following football John Greig, So many others McCoist must be 2nd though. What makes Greig Mr Rangers for me is, he said when he resigned he was finished as a manager, he said, how could I bring another team here?
