The Only Rangers Manager To Win 100% Of His Games In Charge?

Wullie Thornton? Not sure if that's his name, but my grandfather mentioned him to me when McCoist left.

Bingo. I didn't know this until today, but was caretaker manager for 11 days, and won his two games in charged. Scored 5, conceded 1.

Amazing the things you learn when you're bored at work.

Aye, it was years ago, wasn't it? As in, a good 40 or 50 years ago.

I've educated myself more on the internet at work than I ever did at school or university.

I know we've had only 14 or so official managers, but how many people have actually managed us? As in interim or stand in managers?

Ian Durrant, our joint least successful manager, one game, one defeat. Our bus actually sung after the game that day at Dunfermline, "he's blue, he's white, his team selections shite, Ian Durrant, Ian Durrant"

Alex Totten - one game, one defeat.

Tommy McLean - 4 games, one win, three defeats.

Kenny McDowall - 10 games, 3 wins, 3 draws, 4 defeats.

Was Durrant's game against Dunfermline? In between the Le Guen/Smith period.

Edit: Realised you said it was against them in your post. doh

Ally was the 13th full time manager.

We've had 6 different caretaker managers, not including WS before Souness, as far as I can see.
