Had another poor week but I'm not playing my wildcard just yet.

I've swapped Cesc out for Yaya Toure this morning which adds another 0.4 million to my banked money so if my bigger names don't start to show something in the two games before the international break then I'll play my wildcard then.

Mertesacker & Azpicultea for a combined 11.5 million is looking like a bad move because if they don't keep clean sheets they aren't offering anything, so I'll be reverting to last seasons tactic of mainly picking lower priced defenders from clubs lower down the tables based on their form and fixtures and mainly use my transfers to swap them in and out.

I've never captained a defender, quite a high risk but Shaw is also an assist threat so could pay dividends... I'd always go with the one who's more likely to score plus Hazard hits penalties
